québecflower Posted November 14, 2017 at 05:00 PM Posted November 14, 2017 at 05:00 PM I think Evermore is very boring it goes on for ever and doesn't really go anywhere maybe we have bias... But it seems to me Josh Groban has a hot potatoe in his mouth while singing it. 2 Quote Plus qu'ailleurs , but now Si c'était à refaire , i still love tant de temps....

Her performing again at the ceremony is long over due I mean, after her BBMA performance it seems to me that people would love to watch such a legend at an award show, especially at the Oscars. Sony could even release a Live EP of her Oscars performances. 2 Quote

Yes it's sad she hasn't been nominated again since then, but I'm not surprised, because her recording career since 2003 has been as irregular as it can be, with very questionable English albums released (only two between 2007-2017). Just like timing was important to get a nomination...artists who release an album every 10 years get a nodJust like all nominations are super fair... From my point of view, when you see her history in Grammy nominations, since 2002, there wasn't any major duet (only with Stevie Wonder but was not released), there wasn't any success either. I don't know if this category still exist but "loved me back to life" and "taking chances" (both songs) could have been nominated as "best female pop vocal" or whatever but since they flopped...If songs like "Because you loved me" and "the power of love" got a nod and didn't win...I guess her unsuccessfull songs can't even get nominated. And on top of that, I think Sony has to submit its artists as well... and knowing them, and her crappy work with Céline since a few years, I wouln't be surprised they didnt submit anything ( they don't send her music to radio, it makes sense they don't submit her). But I'm not sure if record companies have to do it. Don't know the rules. Edited November 30, 2017 at 10:27 AM by isurrender 1 Quote
