It's funny that now that she sings it live those who stated the song was auto-tuned are not stepping in anymore 🙄

Because beside the usual and normal rawness of a live performance, she perfectly delivers. ..lol

I like that we have a video now.

I like that she sings a new own song in the show.

But why know? Not when the movie came out??

Maybe because those whoe were going to the see the movie just because of Céline's new song (like most of us), wouldn't care to go to the cinema if videos of her performing the song started to show on a daily basis now...

 

But I agree, they take too long to capitalise on things when they are released.

With the recent hype about Celine everywhere in entertainment news, I hope Disney would consider this song more to submit to the Oscars. :-D

With the recent hype about Celine everywhere in entertainment news, I hope Disney would consider this song more to submit to the Oscars. :-D

would i be the Oscars , i would want Celine for the ratings, she is a global star.

I think Disney probably just wanted to focus on the single BATB with Ariana/John when the movie came out.

And now Céline can promote the DVD... :-D

True. Luckily, Celine got so much attention then -- at the premiere, etc. It was great that Emma is such a big fan of Celine too!

 

Now the SONG is finally getting some more attention. I'm glad it's getting another boost with the release of the DVD. Hopefully it will at least get an Oscar nomination and Celine can perform again at the Oscars. :wub: :wub: :wub:

How Does A Moment Last Forever grows on me more and more.

 

I've always enjoyed it -- but it's such a sweet, simple song. And Celine delivers it beautifully. The lyrics are so special when you consider her career, Rene, the film, her fans, etc. etc.

Exactly why I very rarely comment on this forum now.

No that's actually interesting stuff. I am a amateur musician too but that is what i miss in the recordings as well. This is a forum.and i think it is nice to read these kind of things!

Her voice does sound dry on recordings and she does not sound mixed into the music but sounds often to be standing in front of the music and i miss reverb too. No we may not be experts but we can hear what is missing or could be different. Better to discuss all these things on a forum then just accept everything and never talk about it because you must be grateful ;)

lol I don't mind in the slightest people discussing this kind of thing on here. What annoys me is people criticising and talking like they know everything, when all they've heard is 15 seconds of a song recorded on someone's phone in a cinema! At least listen to all the official recording and then give an opinion lol

 

She's singing this song brilliantly now - also Recovering. Absolutely adore that song.

That's what Mariah Carey do!! When belting there's a reverb so it will sound richer, wet and clearer. Taking chances album mostly without reverb but it still sounds great. And her voice blends with the music so when belting high notes it sounds great not loud unlike her Loved Me Back To Life Album. Encore Un Soir her voice blends well with the instrumentals. That's why i think it's best to bring back the old producers because they already know what to do to/what sounds best for céline's vocals. Don't you noticed céline's voice in her studio albums is different not all the same because of different producers. Mariah still got the same producers and herself that's why she's still sound the same in her albums.

 

Not because you're an expert or what but because you noticed something. Because we listened to it almost everyday since 90's.
