It's not an assumption. Sony doesn't own the rights to this song. Disney does. The promotion of the song lies solely on them.

You got my question wrong. :-D I meant, why do you take for granted the music video would have happened had Disney approached Celine? In other words, why are you sure Celine would agree to this? I brought up LMBTL and EUS as examples of major singles, which still came with no music video. Edited by LukeD

If Disney had been hell bent on heavily promoting this song, they would have fought tooth and nail and a video would have absolutely been in the contract. Disney is one of the biggest entertainment conglomerates on the entire planet. They have the best lawyers and agents that money can buy. If they wanted it to happen, it would have. They were understanding with Celine's schedule, it seems. But I promise you, Disney always gets what they want. They were probably just happy to have Celine in general.

Oh that is soooo stupid!!! Aaaargh! Freaking annoying. They just shut it down to promote this collagevideo instead. It is not fair that such a great artist gets such less attention.

Watching the End Credits now.... If they shoot a Music Video with Céline in it.. It would be perfect. The end credits is so beautiful

I think the new song is beautiful it has such lovely character in it and Celine she is perfect. She sang it from her heart. The song with some lovely music in it wow nice

 

I'm glad that Disney and Celine Dion made an agreement for Celine to sing for both films one in 1991 with Peabo Bryson (Which i think they both sang that beautifully well sang from their hearts of music and hearts of the meaning of life with beautiful classical music type just perfect) and in 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pgYEJHJXFB4.

I love new songs in Vegas, and I love that they will post a video of it.

The ending was a bit shortened, right? I hope the video they'll upload will also include the short segment with the little girl dressed up as Belle :wub:

The sound is pretty bad to me, closed, not opened, I have the feeling to hear a voice in a small boxe... they really need to hire a new sound enginiring....

I would have rehearsed a little more. It feels rushed (although the song has come quite late), and the arrangement doesn't sound good in the videos.. It might be better in live ;)

If she keeps it in the set list I think that we will get a much better performance after a few ones, she has to warm up with this!

And I don't really like the movie footage.. They should blend together HDAMLF with BATB and Immortality, it would be such a great coherent segment <3

Hopefully she'll end up doing the ad libs she shortened at the end of the song after a few more performances. Now I hope they'll also upload this performance to her YouTube channel!

Having rights to play big parts of a Disney movie during the concert is a big deal. But understandable, this is Céline Dion after all :)
