"How Does a Moment Last Forever" debuted at #124 on the Digital Singles Chart in France.

Sheeran and Metallica lead a fairly quiet top 10, where only one album debuts in the region: the new Beauty and the Beast soundtrack, at No. 3. The companion set to the live action remake of the 1991 animated Disney film starts with 57,000 units (48,000 in traditional album sales). The album, which boasts the vocal talents of its cast (including Emma Watson) and recording artists like Ariana Grande and Josh Groban, easily surpasses the No. 19 peak of the animated film’s soundtrack.

 

It bowed at No. 146 on the chart dated Dec. 7, 1991, and eventually peaked at No. 19 on the April 18, 1992-dated tally. The set spent 76 weeks on the list and has sold 2.3 million copies in the U.S. It also housed a top 10-charting Billboard Hot 100 in its title track, as performed by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson. The new album features a redux of the song, this time with Grande and John Legend.

That extended intro is absolute PERFECT !!! And the instrumentals along the whole song seem so full, even her voice seems better mixed here...

I need this version right now... They could make a single with both versions, or put the credits version on Celine's new album...

If not, then after the movie appears on Blu-ray, we will be watching over and over the end credits Which in this particular case, honestly speaking, is pretty cool to watch.

 

I just added to the previously added high-quality audio files a video with FULL "How Does a Moment Last Forever" at the end credits. The quality is low (3D projection blur for example), but it gives an idea of how would that look as a stand alone video clip.

He was trying to get her to say something shady or controversial. This was not the place to create a tabloid headline.

 

He was specifically asking about Adele's acceptance of an award she felt she didn't deserve, and the controversy around that event. We know EXACTLY where that question was going.

He was specifically asking her about Adele winning the Grammy over Beyonce, and how some people were speculating that Adele hijacked the award. What he was saying was very specific and had absolutely nothing to do with Celine.

 

"I want to know, as far as the Grammy's are concerned, with Adele winning the Grammys, and Beyonce not. There were a lot of people who said that Adele hijacked..." (interruption).

 

You're going to tell me that he was leading into a question that was in any relation to Celine? Celine stopped him as to not create drama where it wasn't needed, and you're making it more dramatic than it has to be. He was asking a question about a controversial event, and Celine simply didn't want to answer it. End of story.

True. It is quite disappointing.

 

I mean it is not as if the movie was a low budget indie film.

 

They could have thrown out some dollars for a video as the song is aimed for an Oscar nomination. There is plenty of free publicity due to the success of the movie. People would eat up a real video of the song in the long term.

 

But damn... are we doomed not to have Céline in a video ever again ?

The song needs to be released as a single, in order to have a music video. And I think that it will not be released as a single because of its vintage sound and the fact that it is performed by Celine who has been pretty much banned from radio stations.

 

I firmly believe that - given the circumstances - the best we can get is Celine being in good shape, recording beautiful songs like this one. We must give up on expectations of single releases and chart success cause this only makes us disappointed. When we really should not be.

I did listen to the question very well, and I repeat again what I said in a previous post:

 

1) They guy couldn't even finish the question because he was just cut off by Celine.

2) CELINE presented Adele with a Grammy a few weeks ago.

3) Celine has been fangirling about ADELE for years now.

 

So it was clearly and completely related with Céline in my opinion. And I'd say more, it's even rather normal they ask her about Adele, when she's been singing her songs and rumbling about her for years since 2011. So if Celine personally gave the award to Adele, why on Earth wouldn't someone ask her about anything about it? Who else than her who's been praising Adele for years and finally got to meet and even give her a Grammy, to give an opinion?

 

Céline did not only stop him, he cut him off before he could even finish his question. And that was so uncalled for, when the guy was also being as polite as her. He was doing his job and by no means was being rude. Wasn't the place? Maybe. Controversial? You are saying that. As if it was the first time she's asked a controversial question, and she never cuts off but gives the answer she wants or just beats around the bush

 

So first let people talk, and then it's okay to judge and draw conclusions if something is controversial/rude/polemic or whatever. But the truth is we don't know that in this case... because we never got a question

 

Btw, apparently I'm not the only one who is surprised about this "attitude" of Céline, when on ET Canada say she just shut down the reporter as she'd only talk about BATB. So she can talk about BATB in the Grammys red carpet, but not viceversa... How coherent.
