What a great movie!! Just got back and it's so well done.

And of course the song in HD is amazing!

And about 90% of the audience stayed until the end of Céline's song. :wub:

YouTube IS a steaming platform. In fact, by far the most used music streaming platform in the world. That's where most people consume music. And streaming on YT is exactly what you should be doing if you're trying to contribute to chart positions etc.

 

No, in the UK, YouTube doesn't count towards charts. iTunes does. In the US, YouTube counts.

YouTube IS a steaming platform. In fact, by far the most used music streaming platform in the world. That's where most people consume music. And streaming on YT is exactly what you should be doing if you're trying to contribute to chart positions etc.

 

Youtube counts on charts only in the US and on a small scale.

YouTube is mainly to watch videos, listening to a song without images is useless to me. and on smartphones quite uncomfortable as you have to leave the screen turned on to listen to it...

So no it's not the most used music streaming platform..but maybe one day TC will realize how important is to shoot music videos...

It is all about money. They know Ariana and John will score and the song it's melody is timeless. The younger generation will like the song because they do not know the original song.

Well,the new version is not even charting in Japan so that's quite a good thing for B&TB (Céline's)..

Plus the movie will be released over there only in late April.

And actually I donc know if it was released over there as music is usually out later than the rest of the world.

 

In the US it's been charting on ITunes only since the movie is out (On Friday).

The movie is set to earn more than 160 million this weekend only in the US.

 

I'm so glad Céline is part (again) of something big.

 

The more I listen to the song, the more I like it. I prefer this song to the old one (while it's a classic, I didn't like it that much).

And who else could have sung it so well among all the singers out there?

There are 2-3 notes I don't like but no big deal.

Her voice is really beautiful.

And her way of singing is so different than her last recording.

That's the Céline I like : she can sing like Pink but Pink couldn't sing like this one. She truly is a vocal chameleon.

 

And this accorDION at the beginning... so sweet and wistful...

A video would be so wonderful with Céline and some scenes from the movie.

But don't forget that it's not TC decision... it's Disney decision (and budget)... :-D

The view of one person sitting behind a desk, overworked not having time to even feel the film obviously :P

Saw the movie last night; Incredible! LOVED IT.

 

Celine's song at the end is the icing on the cake, and more than half the theatre stays to watch the credits so they hear the song!

 

Interesting now the song is charting twice in the top 200 on iTunes in U.S. ; one from the deluxe version and one from the standard album version. I believe this increases it's overall position sales wise cause the song is selling from both albums.

We don't even know how the question was going to end, nor what was going to be about. Maybe the guy was going to ask something about Céline compared with these two artists, or her experience about some of the awards they won, possible rivalry from her experience, etc. Who knows. But Céline just cut him short. End of story :rolleyes: :confused1:

 

He was specifically asking about Adele's acceptance of an award she felt she didn't deserve, and the controversy around that event. We know EXACTLY where that question was going.

Yeah you may think I get way too excited but it's now officallly the second biggest song off the album! The momentum has picked up again....the same can't be said for evermore :(
