Didn't we get footage from EUS for the Goldmann show?

 

The footage I *really* want though is 'Le Ballet' and 'Love of my Life'.

There's some great bootlegs out there for most other songs of the tour, but those two were much more difficult to capture (you'd need more angles). So if we ever get these, I'll be in heaven.

 

You are correct I had forgotten about that one. But still I expected idk more then just one song. And for Vegas I'm not saying don't record because many artists do record for promo use but did they seriously need to record 4 shows if all it was meant for was promo and archive purposes.

Unfortunately I have no idea what is being said but see this is my point there is no reason why they cannot put something together. I spent yesterday going through pro footage through the years and such and there is plenty mixed in with whatever they shot to make something anything even a mini doc which idk celebrated Celine's 16 years in Vegas. I refuse to understand the point of shelving the damn thing. Then again I do have to remember it took JLO 4 years to release her tour dvd and it finally debuted on HBO. Shakira's was delayed as well after it aired in theatres due to licensing issues. So IF there ever was a plan to release it something could be stalling it.

Yeah and don't get me wrong if we could I'd love all of them. The difference is the Tokyo one( and I think I basically mentioned this one last year) was not aired internationally. Half the general public never ever saw the Tokyo one. And had we not had some very generous cappers on here nor would most of us. When I was at the Colosseum I mentioned it to someone and they were like oh we never saw that and I was like yeah it wasn't aired internationally but it's kinda like this and they were like well then I hope this get's released. So unless you know where to look most people wouldn't have seen the Tokyo show. Way more people knew about the residency then they knew a thing about the mini tours not to say they weren't a hit or didn't sell but logically speaking in regards to why bother with a dvd. As I said last year she's dammed if she does and dammned if she doesn't. Everyone last year was begging for her to record it then when she did everyone hated it. Yet in 2018 when that version first debuted everyone was screaming left and right for it to become to permanant setlist for the residency.

 

The only issue I could see stopping some of these mini tours from being released could be copyright since she has cover songs on most of her tours and residencies. But as I said somewhere else if that is such a huge issue remove those songs and release whatever portion of the concert she can gain rights to.

Finally found another recording of Celine singing “Watch Closely Now/One More Look” when she returned to Vegas after Rene’s passing.

 

Was dreaming of finding something that wasn’t from opening night and it doesn’t disappoint!

She is beautiful. :wub: This performance is really special. The charisma, the strength and fragility, as well as her voice agility and global emotion is really something.

 

On another note, while the sound we had from the teamceline video, coming directly from her microphone, showed a lot of cracks, rawness and fragility. I love what we hear in the coloseum and in ths video. It's raw and beautiful how it is.
