They have increased ticket prices for this last run and changed nothing but a dress... yeah that’s worth the price hike!!!

 

Changed nothing but a dress yeah, but that change is really only apparent to us crazies who know everything and have a full debrief on every show. The prices hiked (needlessly and greedily) but I expected no changes as why would they? It’s finishing. We may get some new songs towards the very end as a rehearsal for Hyde Park.

yes but AND was running till december for over 70 shows! That's different than a show that will only be on for less than 30 times...

 

i'd rather have them put their energy in the new album and the London show!

I'm sorry but what did you expect? By know you should know that the more a show or tour comes to an end, the less things change. There's nothing new about that. Why waste their energy (and money) in new stuff in a show that's almost over? MAYBE if a new single is finally released, it will be added. But who knows whenever that release will happen!

I can possibly see changing one song for the final run in May if and only if they are ready to release the lead single. Otherwise like you said, it's wasting money changing a show that is ending.

This is almost over, so I don't see why.

 

And prices are a function of supply and demand; nothing to do with the content of the show.

again i have to mention Madonna: the people want her to sing her greatest hits but she always makes a mixture of new songs and just a bit reinvented or mixed older songs. She is like i do not care what they want, this is my show. And no matter that setlist, her shows are sold out. So why Celine cannot change the show and cannot exclude a couple of these songs? I hope after Vegas she does what she wants and i guarantee the tickets will still sell because she is Celine Dion!

And yet you see in the uploaded videos how many people are with their phones in their hands recording. That's why i'm not sure whether they were more strict yesterday (and maybe from now on) or that person was just being a good sport.

 

Then again in this video it says in the description "All the footage before security told me to put away my phone". So maybe they were indeed stricter.

Odd, because they don't seem to be policing it. Ramona's always out there in front row, filming, with Celine talking directly to her camera.

What are they afraid of? This show has been tapes a zillion times and at last tours. What is new? What is so special that you cannot record with your phone??

I'm sure they will change nothing, because if they are taping, they will want some continuity for editing. That said....I really dislike the gold suit. I can't even imagine it being comfortable. Gold suit with NO relief, white blouse crammed underneath and those ugly silver boots that are unflattering to her legs (in this outfit). Doubtful they will make any wardrobe changes..She is still fabulous though. Not working the stage as much as I had imagined, but I guess she doesn't need to, eh?

Yeah exactly! One would think she would have more than enough outfits to renew the whole show, considering she changes up to 3 times her image when she goes to Paris fashion week!! But still, seems less is more with Celine!! Everything is slowing down and diminishing but for the ticket prices, that's the only thing that keeps growing faster and faster!! :w00t:

We have no idea if or when theyre filming.

 

Chances are if they do plan to film it for release, they will change the set list a little and change costumes to avoid confusion with the Tokyo DVD

Well it would be completely impossible to guess what show was recorded we would just have to wait and see. My hunch is it will have been one of the shows recorded soon after her 2015 return, possibly September 2015, or Early January 2016, shortly before Renes passing

 

I say September 2015 because when i used to see adverts alot on 5 USA ( a tv channel in the UK) for winning a trip to vegas to see Celine and a stay at caesars and ALL the clips were the original 2015 outfits with the just past shoulder length hair

Other singers have absolutely no problem with swapping songs out, and adding others in all the time. They do it because they want to, and are fully dedicated to their craft to ensure their shows stay constantly fresh and new. Celine, on the other hand...

And Celine has done that over the 8 years of this show, Quite frequently whether we like those decisions or not, they are changes none the less

 

If we examine it mathematically, if Celine was to change it, mid run, 27 shows left out of 427 , that would be like a singer changing their set list in the last 6 shows of a 100 date tour..... it doesnt make sense at all

My guess would be opening night...anyone remember that rumour back then that Oprah's crew had professionally taped the full show or perhaps the 2015 return or my other best guess would be her first night back after Rene's death. Anyone remember the ABM clip that surfaced and this was AFTER they had turned off the live streaming. Yes yes I know they have screen footage from all the shows but that looked way too HD to be screen footage. This is just my honest opinion. I could be WAY WAY off mark. But if I had to choose I'd want either the original show or the first few shows from 2015 return.
