Kind of scary to think that tomorrow starts the second last leg of the vegas residency.... for so long ive been longing for its end but now im kind of... sentimental ? I guess?

Y’all should watch the Oprah show from 2003 with Celine. Puts this whole journey into perspective.

 

What a journey it’s been. I miss René and I also very much miss Oprah and Celine. Such chemistry and genuine admiration fir each other.

 

Very proud of Celine for accomplishing so much in Vegas and I’m thrilled to see what’s next!

What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.. .. She will always be the Queen of Vegas, but I'm glad she will open a new chapter in her life in summer 2019. Edited by comingback

I hope they will shoot the final day or week of this residency show like in A New Day. But i think i want a livestream. I can already see Céline crying at the end of the show doing that final pose and saying her last goodnight to everyone in that colosseum.

Anxious to see pics from tomorrow evenings return. I hope Celine gained some weight. I have had practically every person that knows I'm a Celine fan reach out to me in the last month saying how absolutely horrid she looks lately and how old she is getting. Many concerned about her health. It's frustrating to see the reaction but i do understand when i look at the pictures.

 

Hope she looks happy and healthy.

It would never happen but id love to see Celine perform Thank You as the encore for the final show.... Not gonna lie id love for Celine to just end with MHWGO for the final show... i love ICHFIL but to me;

 

MWHGO as the final song of the final show has so much poignancy and so much symbolic meaning....... all i know is shes gonna do the last humm and then immediately start to cry.... hope she wears waterproof mascara lol

 

 

Also have a weird feeling shes gonna have a new hairstyle tomorrow lol... maybe shorter and darker ala the Loreal ad

I wonder if they will bring back some of the ppl /dancers from all her shows, and I also wonder if there will be a special program like they did for her Opening Night in March 15th 2011,

Considering the modern tinge of recent years, i believe there will be a livestream of the last show, or that it will be recorded with like 10 mins worth of footage put together and posted online, similar to the 1000th show footage

 

 

As for the MHWGO runs thing, IMO it keeps it less boring for her. For the LTAL tour, All 720+ shows of AND and the 132 shows of TCWT... she did the hums almost identically.... singing that part the same way 1000+ times... must get boring. Most of her changes to songs is so she doesnt get bored of them. Ala LCMM,MHWGO,Addition of the little speech to MHWGO....

So after the good news i received last week happy to report i'm back tomorrow so I'll be resuming my old updates. While I wasn't around much last time I did notice there were less vids and pics let's hope we get a good chunk tomorrow. Btw my two cents can they ALTEAST live stream the final show PLEASE ugh I don't want to rely on press footage. If we get nothing else atleast live stream the last show even if its not perfect quality or whatever I don't care it's too iconic to not film. I mean this is potentially the end of her Vegas residency forever. In the sense that she may not even ever do a 3rd one.

All by myself is absolutely a classic... it almost gets as much reaction as MHWGO because its so iconic whether its memes or general love for the song

Wouldn't it be cool if she did a one-night-only show revisiting her favorite songs from the show? I'm talking about her favorite songs since the show started in March of 2011. I'd love to see her singing again Open Arms, Ne Me Quitte Pas and the James Bond Medley :wub:

 

Yes, I know most of them were covers, but still, they marked such an important era in her career...

As far as I can see, still no novelty on Céline's earth. Of any kind. In LV or outside.

Of course Celine will be teary on her last show, but when she goes backstage, she will probably do the same as Theresa May does in this 30-second clip: :D (play the whole thing, it's great!) :lol:

since this is her last set of shows , I do wonder what she will do with the picture's she has backstage in her dressing room, or what they will do with it since she NO longer there, that includes her furniture ,

This isn't her last set right? She has one more break between March to May dates. So the May-June dates would tech be the last round. As for the furniture I am sure the stuff will stay in Colosseum until after the final show I'm sure I think it was there even last time till the end with AND if I'm not mistaken. Please do correct me if I am wrong or I have misunderstood you in any way.
