Celine (Las Vegas show) [ends: June 8th, 2019] - Official topic

My guess would be opening night...anyone remember that rumour back then that Oprah's crew had professionally taped the full show or perhaps the 2015 return or my other best guess would be her first night back after Rene's death. Anyone remember the ABM clip that surfaced and this was AFTER they had turned off the live streaming. Yes yes I know they have screen footage from all the shows but that looked way too HD to be screen footage. This is just my honest opinion. I could be WAY WAY off mark. But if I had to choose I'd want either the original show or the first few shows from 2015 return.

 

 

I have a feeling they wouldnt do the 2011 premiere, its changed way too much. And i have a feeling they would NEVER release the show back post Renes death. Far too emotional and certainly not her best vocal state.

 

I definitely have a weird feeling it will be the first few shows of 2015

Which wouldn't be bad tbh I really enjoyed those shows. The show felt very fresh back then.

Strange question maybe but had they recorded any of the previous shows wouldn't we have had knowledge of it wouldn't there be a sign somewhere? I remember when I saw JLO in 2012 in Vegas we were warned they were taping.

I mean... shes taped many things before with no warnings at all.... NYE 2017/8 in November..... the premiere in 2011, the premiere in 2015....

 

 

AND IF IT WAS THE PREMIERE IN 2015 RELEASED WE WOULD FINALLY GET THE LIVE LIVE BIG NOTE IN ABM IN HIGH QUALITY

Yep though I don't think that's the reason. As someone who has been doing the updates since prob 2016/2017 I have to say ive noticed certain nights we get less media because the ushers are stricter. Hence why I don't believe it was due to Brendan.

Security and her "team" are aware now.

Do we have proof they're aware of it? When I first went I remember they were crazy strict then the second and third time they were waay more lenient. Also we have to remember these are the final shows I'd expect them to be a bit more strict plus look at how the prices have changed. IDK just my personal opinion.

And yet they were ok with Ramona and them live streaming so many shows. Sorry please know I am not doubting your info I just feel like it's a combination of things at this point. Also I feel it depends who's on that night from my own experiences. But it's also another reason I don't understand security sometimes. Please know this is nothing against you just my own personal opinion. :) I've always tried to be fair and listen to everyone's views and opinions and information. Sometimes with social media it comes off incorrectly which is why I'm trying to explain myself right now because i read back some of my previous messages and they came off a bit harsher then I intended them to. Please know I respect everyone in this community.

Oh ok I thought they were upset for the live streaming and I was like and this came to them suddenly after soo many years of Ramona live streaming all the shows. Sorry misunderstood you :)

Thank y'all for sharing all the clips from last night's show! Looking forward to watching more from the upcoming shows!

 

We are in the home stretch!!!!!!!!! So surreal. Vegas is coming to an end in a few months. Try to put yourself in the frame of mind you'll be in when June rolls around when there WON'T BE ANOTHER LEG OF THIS SHOW... EVER AGAIN! Most of us are gonna feel a void inside ourselves. :giggle: With that said...

 

I'm SO HAPPY for Celine! She should feel incredibly proud and we should all feel so proud of her. Look at all of the residencies rolling into town.... Janet, Christina, recently Gaga, etc etc etc. But Celine Dion will always remain the untouchable Queen who's put on consistently spectacular shows for decades!

 

Maybe some other artists swap out songs in their set lists more frequently but who else performs as much as Celine Dion does????? The set list argument is OLD NEWS and holds no weight anymore. At the end of the day, it's ALL ABOUT THAT VOICE and just saying you've been in the same room as her and got to experience THE VOICE in person.

 

It blows my mind that she's given us these Vegas shows on top of those fabulous summer tours the past couple years despite losing the love of her life. Celine Dion has proven herself time and time again in a plethora of ways as one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Let's just soak in these remaining Vegas shows and be grateful for them just as they are! She looks and sounds incredible. And she's leaving Vegas as a true Icon of both music and now fashion. The media loves her. Movies are being made about her. People respect how she's dealt with Rene's passing. She's got gobs of young, new fans and her older fanbase is discovering her again. It's the perfect time for her to try new things......

You know you're right I mean I've never been overly thrilled that the show will end like this but at this stage I'm done caring. Honestly I know when the day comes I'll be bawling my eyes out for many reasons but i mean look what she has done (and Rene of course who created this masterpiece) Now we have Janet Britney JLO Gaga Backstreet Boys and so on coming to Vegas for residencies and none of that would have been possible without Celine. Plus no matter what has happened Rene's death her illnesses, issues with fans etc she's always carried herself with grace and poise never once faltered and that's why she's truly remained one of a kind who is respected even by people who are not fans. And her voice well of course I can go on for hours there but I won't but you get my point here.

lol I wouldn't be either haha but it's the 21st century it's hard to control the recording nowadays people have so many methods. It's way different then when I saw my first concert back in 98 and we used camera with proper film and had no idea if the photo would even come out properly :giggle:

Don't forget Ive tried Videoing it back in Feb after Rene passing , I got yelled at , and I was in the RORCH section, somehow they saw me recording , not sure how they knew that , but oh well

Yeah that's me. Didn't charge anyone anything. Would like to know who's saying that. Please DM me. It was just a smaller, separate forum on my website that was posting social media updates as they came available during the show. That's all. Edited by brendanm999

I'm not trying to start anything on here, but please DM me if you have any further issues you would like to discuss. To reiterate, I did not charge anyone anything. That is completely false. I recorded almost the whole show from front row middle Jan 20th with security looking at me. They didn’t tell me to stop and I have zero connections.
