While she may be thin she looks amazing!!! I can tell she is so happy and content to still be doing what she loves. And she’s closing out such an amazing, glorious chapter of her career. I think the show is perfect for what is Céline now: her hits, a few imbetween Celine wonders and then her inspirations. :heart:

Yeeeeaaah, I don't think so...
We're talking about a man who was named in the Panama Papers, charged with tax evasion, fraud and money laundering, had his assets seized and is in the midst of a multi-year restructuring of his company. Sounds like he got a last minute lifeline debtor-in-possession financing to avoid an all-out bankruptcy, though most of his employees were let go in the process.
Certainly not someone she needs to be associated with right now!

But we cannot deny how talented/artistic he were during A New Day and i don’t know who’s the better artistic director for her. I only know Franco Dragone and Jaime King...

How about Jaime King? The creative director for Céline’s TCWT

- Over dramatic? LOL. Toned down? They only remove the flying scene during TFTEISYF due to hernia (which is understandable). Everything is the same. Except the changing of setlists, outfits, THE HAIR (that everyone hates during 2003-2004), makeup, etc.

The reviews from the early show were poor? Yet, around this era it was the most sold out shows compared to the final year. Of course it will get a lot of positive reviews since it’s the final year and better look of Céline compared to earlier ones.

Céline didn’t want again? How can you be so sure? Since her new residency show is simpler. She can’t change it to a bigger prod in just a snap of a finger. That’s why i feel it won’t happen UNLESS Céline has the courage like Rene to take risks in doing big prod shows. But let’s see after this “toned down” version of Her 2nd residency show.

The 2nd residency show is the toned down version of A New Day.

The Madonna thing was just an example since you said she’s getting older that she can’t do “stuff” like she did back in A New Day/TCWT that’s why i brought up Madonna despite the age. Since Céline back in 2017 were flexible enough to do a seductive dance with Pepe despite the age. Imagine almost 50 she can still be flexible.

The 2nd residency show again is the toned down version of a new day. That’s the concept but in 2015-recent. The revamped show is.... the 2011-2014 was better since it has the original concept of this 2nd residency show compared to the recent one.

I’m sure she wants a big prod again. See! Look how excited she was saying all things about her new BIG PROD tour. And I’m sure she wants to amazed the fans not just with her voice. She wants to give an amazing show.

She was no longer doing choreography in I Wish, She changed the placement of IDAN, added and asked for a choreographed peice of RDMH, asked them to do an interlude involving the unison rap for LCMM, added PQTME, added the Frank Sinatra tribute for All The Way Duet, removing the corny as hell tribute section of At Last and Fever, changing the set up of AA so that it was an interlude which she came into at the end (very smart might I say).... it speaks for itself, so does this very telling review :

Again she was excited about The TCWT in 2008.... 11 years ago. You can see from tour footage alone she got tired physically,emotionally and vocally by half way through 2008, getting bored and exhausted by Omaha in 2009.

I though her literally saying in 2011 on the oprah documentary that they didnt want to do something like AND or TCWT, they wanted an old hollywood,frank sinatra style, orchestra show with Celine being the focus

And again, a 4 minute dance routine is nothing compared to the physical stuff she used to do during AND at 35-39 and even then she was tired as hell... if you watch the behind the scenes of her changing outfits after IDAN into Seduces Me... she literally says “im soooo tired”... and that was just after 5 songs.... in her thirties. Shes now 50 and has experienced back problems... hence why the FIY dance was so much more laidback than Le Ballet

And it was always Rene who wanted these huge productions.

As I said: maybe its time for many of you to realise she doesn’t answer to out every word... if she wants to do LCMM/RDMH/MHWGO until the day she dies SHE CAN DO IT. If she wants to never do a big production again SHE’LL DO IT.

And if she ever does a big production I can guarantee it wont be anywhere near the scale of AND or the TCWT, it would be like 2 nights a week for 4 weeks at a time and then be off for a month.... she would categorically never do a schedule like AND or TCWT again

THEY DID THAT OVER 10 YEARS AGO. TCWT ended 10 years ago, AND ended 12 years ago. Literally how do you know she was having fun ? Performing the exact same show (it was far far harder to change things for AND) nearly 800 times in 6 years. She very clearly wasnt.

There’s nothing wrong in hiring a creative director for a tour/concert. At least, you’ll got the best concert ever like AND/TCWT.

Your likes is different from being an artist. You should evolve. Not the other way around or else.........

Evolve is accurate, celine has evolved a lot since the Tour Lets Talk About Love, with its central stage, at the time a great feat and different, then came the New Day ... super production, TCWt, super production, then after the break in 2010 came a classic show in 2011, with concept and elegance, at the beginning of this show with positive reviews, there was a rumor that she had a contract until 2019 ok.

After 2011 we stayed with this same show for 8 years, many years doing the same thing, some people come and say, the show has changed, for me it's just some songs, being that she could have done a lot more, the show got boring, I think for us fans we want so much more.

When she decided to do these mini tours, summer shows, I thought she would find a different show, even if it was summer shows, the production sins and falls in line with her old shows.

She does not have to go dancing like crazy and flying on stage to be modern, she is an entertainment icon, she needs a modern show with new things, a good stage worthy of the artist she is.

Only that.

Me. That was my opinion.

For me, i like the theatrical format.

It creates a memorable/unique, exciting atmosphere for the show. Using modern techs like great stage lightings, electronic imagery/pre recorded videos, props, backdrops, special effects like fogs/smokes, pyrotechnics, flying dancers, flying props, etc.

I want the people to see the best show ever not just because of the voice but because of the best prod ever. that will be remembered for the rest of your life like A New Day. Since again, people thinks that if céline do a show. It will be spectacular like she did back in A New Day.

If that happens, you’ll see that she’ll get excited again and it will make her more alive on stage.

I remember back in 2007. At school. They all know that i like Céline Dion. I even show them the A New Day show on my iPod touch and they were amazed with the production and saying that Of course it’s Céline Dion. She’s a Legend. She will put an amazing show not just by singing but because of the production. It’s the best. And i feel this show attracts more people to watch her live. That’s the modern entertainment.
