Would someone of you be so kind and sum up, what the media in her homecountry is reporting by now? "Thanx" to the "General Data Protection Regulation" citizens of the EU don't have access to newspaper and media like "Le Journal De Montréal" or "... de Québec" or the TVA group anymore. :doh:

 

 

And I truely hope not to much time will pass, til additional information will be officially published. More and more people seem to believe, that Céline is ending her career (oh my!!! With a new album on the way, an extremly "possible possibility" :doh: :sofunny:)

Some articles make it sound like she is retiring. It's only the end of her LV residency!!

She won't stop now that she's on a roll... :-D

Nothing new.. Scott Price said that Céline is not retiring and that it's just the end of an era. He said that the gigs in Vegas also requires a lot of energy and that Céline "may want something else". And that he knows that she loved the summer tour very much. "We will see..." He also thinks there will be a follow-up, but she will announce stuff when it's ready to be announced. They heard rumours about the show ending when they were touring past Summer and heard the news between 2 shows in Asia, but they already "expected it". Barnev added that he thinks she's ready for a new chapter and that he'll "always be there for Céline, no matter what she decides next".

I bet Vegas also is freaking out...thousand of jobs and millions in revenue will be "lost" without having her there, sure there are tons of other shows with big names, but Celine literally changed the Strip...but this is not an amateur's move...there is something we still don't know, she might have other plans we have no idea about. The tour thing, yes... sounds cool, even with a new album, and then what? She is slowing down,we can't expect her to keep the rythem of her Falling Into You World Tour days...

The point is, this show is boring compared to "A New Day..." She got tired, and I get it, she can't play with her setlist in Vegas like she did in the last 3 mini tour... trust me, there is more we don't know about yet.

In any case, while I'm eagerly awaiting what's next, I fear this all means we'll see less of Celine, not more.

After “Celine” closes for good, I’d like to see her take a break to help reenergize her soul. After that, do a tour of the U.S., including states she hasn’t visted in the past, or states she hasn’t been to in a long while. Alaska and Hawai’i come to mind. After that, finally hit South America. The setlist for these two legs would be similar to Asia, but would incorporate songs such as “If You Asked Me To,” “Misled,” “Nothing Broken But My Heart,” “Sola otra vez,” “Amar haciendo el amor,” and “Aun exist amor.” Then, FINALLY, do the “Unknown Tour” she has been wanting to do. Where the new album would play into all of this, I’m not sure yet. However, as of today, this is what I’d like to see her do.

She won’t go away, she loves the summertours too much! I am glad she quits this Vegas run. We will see what the future will bring. We will see lesstof her, but When we see her it will be beter!

If she really were to retire, they would surely use that in their marketing.

But it still is the end of an era...

 

I was checking out the pre-sale (for a friend :innocent:), but everything for June 8th seems to have sold out already?
