Um have I gone kookoo or is she wearing another dress for Recovering and Mr Paganini that does not look like the black dress...did she reverse the order? Ugh I'm confused I need clearer pics!

I wish they would put even half as much time/effort/energy into rehearsing a new song for the show that they do in changing setlist order. This is getting amateurish, if you're gonna tinker with it that much why don't you at least add/remove a couple songs to see how the flow really could be improved.

I wholeheartedly dislike Purple Rain, with every inch of my skin. Her random screams in that song make me cringe. That's not singing, at least not the singing I know from Celine Dion. Am I the only one here? :cry:

she has great sexy legs but sorry to say i find that green dress hideous and too much over the top clownish! Can't tell me that there is no better replacement dress that also looks sexy but classy as well!

Even though I really like her rendition, it's getting boring a little bit, just like every other song that stays in the show for a long time. Once Celine got used to the song, all the moves, adlibs etc become predictable, she is like in autopilot mode. That's why I don't want songs like EUS to be included, it would totally lose its magic

Exactly my thoughts about this matter. Everything she takes to Vegas and stays for a while on the show, it ends up losing its magic and freshness in the end. They never learnt to update the show setlist every 6 months for example, when she was doing the insane number of shows per year that she did during A New Day. And still with this show which has far less performances per year, she sticks to the same songs year after year after year.

 

If she included just one new song, say every month or two, in the Vegas show, at least she would have something new to look forward to and escape from that "automatic robot mode" she inevitable has when she's bored of singing the same songs night after night. But... :rolleyes:

I think that dress is the yellow one! But I could be wrong. But I loved that yellow one so if it is I am so happy!

I didn't know love until they loved me back to life because somebody loves somebody!

I just don't like that monkey sound that she do "oohh aahh ahh ooohh ahhh come on kevin!", she should work on that part.

I agree that a full live performance would be even better but I am VERY happy the largest part is live!! And she did sound a bit shaky recently during the bridge. So this is the best option.

 

Experiencing this song LIVE for the first time since 1999 during last tour was such an amazing experience!! Even though the song has been done to death... Hearing it LIVE the song still bears the emotion and magic as it did 19 years ago :wub2:

Actually maybe it is the normal dress I dunno the video just makes it look like sleeves but if it's sleeves it could be the alternative opening dress

I just was able to sit down and watch that performance of MHWGO... omg those melismas and that last chorus before the last verse :wub2: that was absolutely amazing!!! One of the best renditions in a while for sure!

It looks like Celine brought back the yellow dress and got rid of the show opener look, replacing it with the black dress. I like it. :) Much more figure flattering and also still classy. I would love it ever more though if they would replace the yellow dress with that flesh colored dress Celine had on during one of her Vegas performances awhile back.

 

I don't know why they took it away so fast. I thought it was very old Hollywood, classy and elegant! :wub: In my opinion, the flesh colored dress would fit in much better with the black dress then that yellow one does. Hopefully it makes a return to the show at some point.

that concert was really unique, and yes although I have seen the song twice in concert, both times it was lipped

so it was amazing to hear it live in Antwerp!
