I don't know, I feel like she still hasn't recovered completely from her illness. She's starting to sound a bit like the American leg of the last world tour... :wacko:

Nasal you mean but if you just recovered of catching a cold or the flu it is obvious.. .but that is her, always doing a bit goofy. That is Celine as we know her;)

We were really programmed, that's for sure! It will be really weird if we see it in a video of All By Myself lol :giggle: but I've always loved it, Elie Saab Couture is just beautiful :wub2:

Yup, Elie Saab reached her climax collaboration with Celine at last year's American Music Awards, in my opinion.

 

And it's so nice to finally have some full-length videos from the show! I remember fans that attended the show used to upload new videos to YouTube way more often during the pre-Instagram years.

 

Quand Ça Balance is getting a little bit boring to me, and not to mention its ridiculously short length. She really got personal on both Recovering and Immortality (it's nice to see her more "sincere" performing in English than in French for once).

 

I specially loved the way she ended Immortality, with that humming and showing that she dedicates the song to René, and the little highs she did on Recovering :wub:

Maybe these changes she makes to the songs are what she means when she says that Vegas has given her the opportunity to grow and evolve as an artist. Since she doesn't change the setlist very often, she can explore new ways to perform certain songs. I had never noticed this good side of the coin lol.

I absolutely LOVE the way she says the final "take back my piece of miiindddd..." in recovering now. It's so sweet and beautiful all at the same time :wub2: and Immortality is so good. Always been one of my favorite English songs, so I'm glad she's still performing it. The latter half of the song is just so good now! :heart:

So good to see her performing Immortality on stage in stead of walking through do audience. The song has much more meaning now and deserves to be performed without distractions.

Yeah me too. Since she began sing the song live again she has showed it can be done in many different ways.

If she continues to do this this song will never get old. At least for me.

Last night! November 16, 2016. I love this performance

 

Haven't seen any live versions from '99 live :(

Only seen from youtube. Very jelous of all of you that got to see her live during that period ;)

It was a decision maker for me when she started do MHWGO live again. Was thinking to myself, I got to see the show before they make the decision to do the whole song lipped again. And I think this song live have got new life. Earlier live versions, for me, the verses was almost just waiting for the big ending. Now I think it's reversed I enjoy the verses much more than before, they have more feeling I think now, than the last part.

But a full live version would be even better. Maybe she will go back to a full version if she get the inspiration some day.

Not complaining it's very good how it is now.

 

Just a question, is the last part that taxing on the voice that she must lipsynch it?

 

 

I agree that a full live performance would be even better but I am VERY happy the largest part is live!! And she did sound a bit shaky recently during the bridge. So this is the best option.

 

Experiencing this song LIVE for the first time since 1999 during last tour was such an amazing experience!! Even though the song has been done to death... Hearing it LIVE the song still bears the emotion and magic as it did 19 years ago :wub2:

Based on previous trends, I would guess that Celine would not be performing at the Colosseum between July and September 2017. Since the English album is scheduled to be released next year, it is likely she will do a mini tour during the summer months and fall months due to the more extensive market (UK, Germany, Asia)

Man, I saw her Wednesday night and while yes, she probably still is fighting off the tail end of her infection, I thought she sounded amazing! I think her week of vocal rest did her voice wonders. To top it off she was in great spirits and seemed to have lots of energy and enthusiasm. :)

I LOVE this song. The speech is so contrived though. It actually sounds as if she is reading off of a TelePrompTer. I think that before she sings "Recovering," she should speak from the heart and speak impromptu. The speech she is currently reciting, is just so robotic. It takes away from the song's meaning.

Hi! I wanna share with you the video "Somewhere over the rainbow". I know that Céline doesn´t perform this song in the current show, but for me this performance is very special.... I am a very "young" fan of Céline (since 2015) and I have by far not your experience....but what I have is enthusiasm and devotion...this song at the end of the concert in January 2016 really changed my life. I would not have thought that this could happen to me.....Céline brings so much happiness in my life, and that´s the reason why I gonna share this video from this concert. I hope you enjoy it :wub: ---and sorry for the blurry video....I was too overwhelmed :innocent:
