LukeD Posted November 14, 2016 at 11:52 AM Posted November 14, 2016 at 11:52 AM (edited) I agree with chocolatechip15 in everything. NBBMH is a decent song to me. Nothing that needs to be brought back on stage. If You Asked Me To, The Colour Of My Love, Call The Man would seem more rational additions to the show. I would also prefer her to sing some favorites of mine like The Greatest Reward, Then You Look At Me, Live (For The One I Love), When I Fall In Love, In Some Small Way... Verstuurd vanaf mijn SM-G901F met TapatalkThe problem with an english tour is that she didn't do one for quite a long time, so I'm not expecting setlist such as we had this summer, to avoid at least 2 or 3 vegas favourites would be already good enough. Talking about vegas, I would love 'Thankful' to be included, and from the oldies which were never performed 'Is Nothing Sacred Anymore', will never happen, I know, but just interesting how it would sound with her current voice, such a great song and lyrics are perfect. 1 Quote

Angel2006 Posted November 14, 2016 at 10:53 PM Posted November 14, 2016 at 10:53 PM (edited) Does anyone know if Aldo or anyone else on Celine's team have even mentioned anything about a summer tour? This might not even be happening guys. We shouldn't assume and get our hope up. Just because Celine did a tour for the French album, doesn't mean she will do one for the English album. I think the best tour we can possibly have can come after the album is released. And it is a good chance to include rare songs. Assuming the album will be out in about a year from now the tour can come in early 2018. Celine can take all the time she wants to rest her voice in the meantime cause it seemed like 2016 took a toll on her. 1 Quote
pat200 Posted November 15, 2016 at 12:18 AM Posted November 15, 2016 at 12:18 AM ^it would be great if she did some unknown english songs on her english tour. so far, one heart has the least amount of songs performed from it with 1/13 only done live (i don't count have you ever been in love), followed by d'elles (2/13) and encore un soir (3/15). 4 Quote
celine4evauk Posted November 15, 2016 at 01:10 AM Posted November 15, 2016 at 01:10 AM If its a tour before the album is released then it could definitely be like the french tour. A few gems included. If it's a tour after (or during) the album release then it's fair to say it's be the usual english songs with new ones included, and probably no gems. Although I hope I'm wrong 😂 1 Quote

I would love some songs from Unison, Celine Dion, and The Colour of My Love. stone Posted November 15, 2016 at 05:29 AM Posted November 15, 2016 at 05:29 AM I'm guessing she would just do the non U.S Anglo-markets like the UK, Canada, and like Germany and Switzerland. I wonder if they would do the same thing and tour before releasing the album like they did with EUS since that seem to work real well in terms of sales. Quote

It's a FORUM. We are allowed to discuss anything that was stated, especially something about a possible album, or tour. You really need to stop implying and creating arguments. Not us who are talking about hopefully future projects. Launching a tour like the tours Céline does usually require more effort and can be way more exhausting than a promotional tour for an album, which in this case is reduced and limited to only French speaking countries. Yes I know and we are all looking forward to the future and to seeing again a wonderful tour like the past summer, but it just seemed a bit inappropriate how some posts are talking about a new tour already, as if it was something due, first when she's sick these days due to exhaustion for her work overload in 2016 and second when she just did a new tour 2 months ago, which led her also to exhaustion. Also, normally when you do a tour is because you have some new music to show. Céline has no new English music released so far, so let's wait first for an English album release, and then we can probably talk about a tour. Until that, everything else is just speculation and seems a bit premature, according to how many things have been and are on her plate now. Last but not least, it's not like Céline is idle now. Everytime she finishes the promo of an album or a tour is coming to an end, since 2003, it's because she has to come back and resume her commitments in Las Vegas (yes, Vegas again!). Actually, the only English/world tour she's been able to do since she's in Vegas was after finishing her first contract with them, in 2008 and after A New Day finished. I don't even know how she got the inner force to tour this year, after everything she's gone through since late 2015. So it's not like she's doing nothing now. Unfortunately, she's singing in Vegas and still for 2 couple of years more, so adding a new tour on her plate now, and especially, *expecting* that she has to do it next year, or whenever, seems a bit demanding, with all due respect. Things would be different if she had just finished the summer tour, launched the French album, and nothing was planned next, and no more Vegas was on her schedule. Then yes, we could all be waiting and looking forward with anticipation for a new tour as soon as possible. But with Vegas... everything is put on hold and revolves around her commitments with that contract (surely I'm not inventing the wheel here, right? ) I didn't want to cause any offence sorry, just think Céline needs a break Edited November 15, 2016 at 11:52 AM by Javito 1 Quote "Hush, now... LukeD Posted November 15, 2016 at 12:52 PM Posted November 15, 2016 at 12:52 PM (edited) Nobody demanded a tour. I went through the comments and all I see is people posting their hopes about the possibility of an upcoming tour. And this possibility stems from the words of Celine. It is not the result of our insatiable demands! As a matter of fact, people used words like ''hope'', ''pray'', ''assume'', ''would be great''. This is the most subjective and polite way of expressing a wish, not a demand. And needless to say that her health is the priority. It literally feels like I'm explaining that I'm not an elephant. Taking Chances Posted November 15, 2016 at 06:47 PM Posted November 15, 2016 at 06:47 PM I was recently in Vegas and saw Celine for the first time. I've loved her since for as long as I can remember. Anyway, Vegas was awesome. I absolutely loved it. I was there November 1st and I was blown away by how incredibly funny she is when she performs, I knew this already, but to experience it was something completely different. I felt almost like I had an epiphany while I was there. As if I could love her more. I thought I'd share a few pictures with you guys that I took. I was right up front and I took a lot of photos. I'll share the videos when I've uploaded them to YouTube. I got plenty more pictures, if anyone wants to see. I loved the show from beginning to end. It's perfect that she opened with I Surrender. It's one of my all time favorite songs, I also loved that she sang Where Does My Heart Beat Now. I didn't love the French song that she sang, never heard it before. Enjoyed the show nonetheless of course. I've recently fallen in love with Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore, before I've usually listen to If That's What It Takes because I don't really understand French, but with her new French album I had to translate all of her French songs to understand them. And then I completely fell in love with the lyrics of Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore. I hoped maybe she would sing it. Recovering was great. Not my favorite song, but it made complete sense for her to sing it. And I loved her performance of it. Very moving. Then when she sang Beauty And The Beast I wondered who was gonna sing the male part. And I was completely blown away by with guy. What a voice! Who is he? I loved her acoustic medley of A New Day Has Come, That's What It Takes and I'm Alive. I love that she changed them a little for the show. I wish she would do this with more of her older songs. I love Think Twice, I know that she wouldn't sing it, and rarely sings ever. I wish she would sing it live sometime. Even if she does a short acoustic version. I loved Incredible with that guy. They were amazing. Incredible isn't one of my go to songs, but I loved this live version. The rest of the show was so amazing. I saw a few people who ran up front, and I was right there, so of course I ran up there too. I got to stand right up front and film the last few songs and I was basically ecstatic. She even touched my hand three times. (Sorry, a little creepy) Also, I was so surprised she got her long hair back! http://i65.tinypic.com/727tr7.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/4iohs9.jpg http://i63.tinypic.com/n3ue6q.png 6 Quote
