Just the arms for the most part. Her legs are in great shape as she is on them all the time! Burning calories is not the same as toning. As we age, women in particular, have to fight the upper arm looseness. Simple toning exercises would take care of her larger upper arms (not fat!) as she has a fantastic metabolism!! Noone is saying she is fat!!

 

Toning is actually a side effect of intense physical activity. You can tone your body in other ways than just going to a gym. An no we don't have to fight upper arm looseness, we can just accept it. It's natural.

So I have just listened to Tims bootleg of the 1000th show, for which I am very grateful!

 

But I must say... I can't believe they consider this to be a solid show

 

My first impression: Céline talks too much! Yes I love to hear her talk, but I think in all she spoke about 30 minutes through the whole concert! I'd much rather hear two songs! And I think a cusual attendee would too!

 

Secondly... I still find the song choices so odd! IMO they don't work together. And seriously, just a 1,50 minutes song in French?? Celine you should be ashamed! IMO a song from EUS should have been included instead! Or Le Ballet, that would make a great fresh change!

 

Also, the Funk medley sucks c$cks in hell!! It has no place in her show! Other songs that should go ASAP are: IDAN introduction, BATB, ABM and even Incredible, although that sounded better than on the album. And they should play more with the acoustic medley! More varity and longer! (Either longer songs or more songs)

 

I love the new intro for TSMGO, but I don't know if I like TSMGO after MHWGO... so many bombastic songs at the end! I miss Somewhere Over The Rainbow

 

I do think Céline still enjoys to perform in Vegas... but like i said many times before... I can't believe after such an innovating French setlist, they don't tackle this show!

 

Maybe she was tired vocally because of the tour... but I did think she wasn't on top of her vocals. Some songs were sung sloppy IMO.

 

Recovering was amazing though! I am glad it's part of the show! Though I fear this song will have a quiet exit in the end.

Hope she rests up lots today and is able to be back tomorrow. From personal experience its devastating when she cancels. ...because the show is so spectacular when you do get to see it!

Are u kidding? Not fat, but healthy? She is a star. Besides, over weight is not healthy. It's proven that an under caloric diet makes u live longer... There was fat dropping over the dress..on her back... she doesn't have a sexy under arms of a skinny Celine. She is squared, fat puffy all over. I was really scared with the 1000th video. She was not like that even after Nelson and Eddy's birth... She needs to calm down and eat healthy. She has bad eating habits. I saw on the world tour.

At a guess I would say celine. Purely because celine did massive promo through the 80's and 90's. Mariah did quite a bit too. But Mariah didn't tour for the first few years. Mid 90's she started touring. Late 90's her voice changed and personal problems etc so she wasn't everywhere like before. Knowing how hard celine worked and for how many years, I would say celine. But that's just my opinion lol

I love her so much but this show is boring. Before yall jump on me and say, 'see it live' um I see her two to three times a year and will continue to see her in Vegas until she hangs it up but this show needs to change sooooooo much!

I will never forget what Scott told Carlos. She doesn't want to or has no interest in changing things. (hopefully it's just for a period of time in her life)

We regret to inform you that tomorrow’s performance (Monday, November 7) of Céline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has been cancelled. Céline Dion has been recovering from a viral infection and is on doctor’s orders to take tomorrow night off and rest.

Céline at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace is expected to resume performances as scheduled on Wednesday, November 9.

Céline, Caesars Palace, and AEG apologize for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders.

When she was sick in 2012 and my show got canceled my credit card was refunded. I had no troubles getting the refund back.

I hope Celine gets better soon. I had a feeling this was going to happen. Celine has been overworked lately and has done alot more traveling and performances then usual. Plus, I'm sure she's been under alot of stress since Rene's passing. I'm actually surprised she didn't get sick sooner.

 

Just goes to show how much she keeps her vocal cords in shape and how strong she truly is to have pushed through for this long without getting sick. Hopefully Celine will make a full recovery soon.

I'm was reading some comments about the show's cancelation on Monday and some people can be really rude. Like someone said I traveled so and so miles to see her and it's canceled. Like some people are blaming her of being sick

That's true. Young kids gets colds all the time and carry alot of germs. Celine is also very good about making sure to get her annual flu shot for herself and her kids, but that doesn't always mean you won't still get sick. There are lot's of elements at play that could have caused this to happen. I just hope Celine makes a full recovery soon.

One thing that was new the other night was the opening video: no longer the one with all the fans! Still IDAN, but a collective montage of shows at the Colosseum starting with the opening of AND in 2003. All the day until the 1000 show last month, then it ended with "Tonight: Show 1,001"
