I bet she's got that horrible bug that's been going around. I know someone that got it and they were down sick for 3-4 weeks. They could do stuff but they couldn't really speak very much without getting hoarse!

Thank you! I was trying to find a song with that name and I thought I knew her repertoire semi-decently lol!

by the way, I honestly couldn't tell if she had Botox or not! She was as goofy as always :)

Sad to hear that she been sick and had to cancel shows.

But man I feel relieved to have seen the nov 2nd show. Only day before the cancelled shows. Had been pretty bummed out if it got cancelled when I was there

since I had tickets for LTAL tour in Gothenburg and that got cancelled cause' Rene got cancer then.

Still sad to hear she is sick but still very happy I finally got to see the show.

I was on axs last night and it was actually letting me buy tickets for the cancelled shows for some reason so needless to say that whatever we see happening on there means nothing in regards to her coming back or not. Lol

Give her a break. She has toured the whole summer..and yes this is what Vegas does to her voice! She can take a rest until the end of this year and work on her new album when she wants to and have a well deserved break!

Well she would have been done on Nov 26th. Hopefully she'll be well enough to come back for the final week and a half. It's not many shows just 7 more then she's off till January 17th 2017

Boy , You can tell when she not preforming this Board if so Boring , with nothing to talk about or seeing video's posted, Lets just hope that she will be back by tue night, I DONT THINK this board can take another week of this

True! I never listen to this song, I find it very cheesy and schmaltzy. But now that you mention a different arrangement, I think if it was stripped down with just a piano, with a slight country tone it would actually be really good. There's a live version of Faith Hill's It Matters To Me on YouTube:

It would be awesome if done in a similar sense.

I adore WFTM. I love the schmaltz lol. And her vocal is stellar. It's a fantastically produced track. Definitely from 1992 though. I wouldn't even go countryesque with it. I'd keep it pop, rearrange the drum rhythm and sounds. Modernize it a bit. It would be fantastic if they updated it.

Well I think the latest was doctors say she would recover this week (meaning this past week) but return this coming week. A few extra days as a precaution.

So hopefully she should be back this Tuesday (15th).

It's amazing how difficult is to tell when she sings live, her pitch control is unbeatable, mainly during 1990-1993

I disagree - I don't want her to bring back Nothing Broken But My Heart at all. She's grown so much as an artist since then, and it's one of those songs where I do understand why she sometimes gets denigrated by critics Yes, she sounds great singing it, and it's a nice catchy melody, nice showcase for her big voice. She also looks like she's having a ball up there performing it, which is adorable to watch.

 

But that's all it is -- it's her having fun up there belting out big notes. That's nice for what it is, but it's not really artistry. The lyrics of the song are about a woman who's heartbroken but is struggling to convince everyone around her that she's ok, even while her heart is breaking. And that emotion just doesn't come through at all to me in Celine's performance. She's having too much fun (I actually love seeing her look so happy -- but it does not convey the emotion of the song at all), and it seems too much about hitting the notes without interpreting the message of the song.

 

There are many, many songs in Celine's repertoire where I think she does an extraordinary interpretive job, conveying emotion and meaning through her voice. This song is just not one of them.

 

I guess it would be ok if everyone wanted to just have fun belting out an old, really cheesy song with her for the fun of it in a one-off show somewhere. But I can't see this being a regular part of her show.

She should sing her old songs if it's english tour then she should sing from unison album up to her latest english album. She can pick 1 or 2 or 3 songs per album
