All the people who've actually *attended* the show seemed to have loved it, judging by the Facebook and Instagram posts I've seen.

First, it's clearly obvious that she isn't quite ready yet, but she had to perform. But I take this over her never singing again. It will get better, but she has to adjust to a whole new situation here, which isn't easy [for her]. Give. her. a. break.

 

Secondly, yes there were a lot of nerves and yes Ashes wasn't perfect, but were 'Recovering' and 'How Does A Moment Last Forever' the first time(s) she performed those songs? No. Judging from the past, it takes Céline a little while to give life to a song and sing it better.

I know Ashes wasn't perfect, but at least it was live. I saw a video if IDAN where it looks like she forgets the words as she's lip syncing......(I don't know if this has been posted here already, but watch this till the end:

Does anyone know what songs regularly have playback? I know All By Myself and MHWGO (and now IDAN) but is anything else playback?

 

I like this setlist and I'm sad I missed out on it (minus Ashes) when my show was cancelled in April. I am really holding out for fall dates, and hopefully Think Twice and IDAN will remain in because I really want to see them both... despite the playback.

Well, in the 2003 key it was a higher key than she did on tour in 2017. Its trying to do all the long notes whilst dancing and being energetic. Not to mention that there are some parts that have no breaths like “no one can move me the way that you do nothing erases this feeling between me

Id like to see you do a full performance of IDAN, whilst dancing at the end of a 1 and a half hour show

I agree, i love IDAN, but if she idn't ready to perform it LIVE then she should kept TSMGO in the show, at least first half was live and the part that was lipped was a current voice of hers, also she was better at lipsynching it than IDAN

By the way, did she replace TSMGO with IDAN? That’s such a shame!!!! The Bethoveen version was the show highlight for me, also during the tour!!

Just joking honestly the whole orchestral arrangement was great but.... maybe Celine feels that TSMGO doesnt apply anymore, like that stage of her life is over and the butterfly has left the cocoon.

I'm guessing they're going to be doing RDMH into IDAN on the tour. Regardless of whether or not she was ready to sing it live, I'm sure she still wants to her a feel for the transition between the two songs if they are in fact going to do it this way on the tour.

exactly! I also cannot get over the fact that we don’t have a professional recording of the Bethoveen TSMGO version, neither a live nor a studio version, and Celines version was amazing because it was original. Nobody ever arranged this song like she did and her version deserved a professional recording and release, at least a bombastic energetic live version from Vegas or the tours. I hope that tonight Celine will realize that a full version of TSMGO thats only half lipped is better than a short completely lipped version of IDAN and she will go back to TSMGO!

 

I hope that eventually they will give us a live professional video of TSMGO, i know for a fact that on the 1000 show the song was filmed, that should already be on VEVO!

We have the BillBoards but unfortunately its fully lipped. Truly i hope for one from the 2016 tour as it was 90% live
