RDMH was a bit rough tbh.

Some amazing notes in purple rain and guittar thing.

I bet tomorrow she Will be better. Shes like an atlethic, she has to pratic, and after long time not doing it, even more.

Wow so is the audio change of a 2003 vocal playback following a 2018 butchering of rdmh obvious or what.....i hate to be negative Nancy about a change because we all know how rare a change is but why can't they ever select songs she is comfortable singing live instead of insulting us with a filler. Its nothing but a filler. Its not a positive change at all. She did wonderful with this song on tour. What's up with this?!?!? I would take back HDAMLF in place of this still dusty old #ss playback tape idan.

In my opinion, it's getting more and more dodgy to use lipsynch, as her live voice is so different than one the pre-recorded tracks. If you watch IDAN and TT, or Ashes and IS, even a non fan can notice the difference. Using a pre-recorded track is already a problem to me. But using a very obvious one is....

So with that philosophy, why was idan not sung in full and live for the first 2 minutes? Instead it is shortened and all playback even though she slayed it 10/10 on tour. The live energy of that song is better.

 

Lets not forget we lost hdamlf and then a full song is replaced with a shortened one. Ashes is like 2.5 minutes....as much talking as there is it could have been added without needing to remove a song.

Indeed, and that's why #Imwithher. I m quite sad for her cause she looked like she knew it was far from good. Maybe I m overinterpreting, but to me, she looked disappointed in most videos I watched. I know as well some might argue it's her choice to come back to Vegas (and it's probably very true too), but we don't know either what the contract with CP is...

Of the song, Dion said, “It’s definitely not a children’s movie.”

“It’s funny but crazy too, so be careful with the little children,” she said. “The main man starring in this movie is an incredible and funny amazing actor — a Canadian — Ryan Reynolds sent me a song.”

She added, “But the song I couldn’t resist. I wanted to record this song and I did. And it gives me pleasure to sing it for the first time.”"

Am I disappointed, a little. I would love for her to step out every time and blow everyone’€™€™s minds. Tonight was no€t her best but at this point I am just grateful she is back. There are some really cool changes/additions and I am €™sure over the next couple shows the nerves will settle, the muscle will warm up (hopefully a little less playback will be used) and it will be impeccable again.

I think she sounded good on Ashes (Vanessa recorded a good version, it's somewhere on FB). If she gets a bit more comfortable with it, she'll be slaying 'em dead by next week.

 

As for her face: After close study (lol), I don't think she's had anything done. She gained some much-needed weight, got a tan and used a bit more concealer/contouring I think (?), but her face still looks the same when she makes weird faces lol.

i noticed it in the close up video that was posted here. Her mouth was open at moments it needed to sing, clearly lipsync on idan.

I think she has obligations and many people bought their ticket already. She cannot suddenly say - I want to have more time and postpone again. I would say take away some fillervsongs and replace them with songs she can sing.

Ashes was a little bit unstable unfortunately. But i do think the more she does the song the more it gets better. There will probably some stellar performances of the song soon.

 

 

Would have been best though that she rested more, before going on this demanding minitour..

Hope she now decides to not do this Vegas show so many times a year or does not renew the contract. It binds her too much.

Only do the mnitours and release new music from time to time.

Great to see her back.

 

Not being negetive just feedback... I think she needs more rehearsal with the band/orchestra for ashes... it was good but not amazing, yet! Lol

 

And darker hair please... unless she’s waiting for the tour to do this.

 

I do wonder what songs will be in the tour as they ain’t got long now to rehearse.

 

I think it’s safe to say ashes & idan will be in the setlist.
