And let's not forget that the "Unison rap" was performed by some of the dancers during "A new day" as another interlude so Céline could change into the short dress for "River Deep."

So, I think with this new tour, the Vegas show could be EASILY updated to mirror the tour, freshening up the show, while still adhering to the time constraints and restrictions enforced by Caesars.

 

They could update her outfits - make them more like the tour, and also change the marketing of the show - less "glamour shots" of Céline in gowns, and more "fashion-y" photos (honestly, they could even use some of the V Magazine pics and TC promo shots if they had to). Go back to the original '90's Céline logo for EVERYTHING.

 

Since they probably would STILL want to have an intro video, I think they should update what they have. I like the Colosseum retrospective, but I think they can build on this a bit, maybe including what she's done in between Vegas with the tours, and change the song to "The Show Must Go On" like the 2016 retrospective video that Team Céline put up. I just think it's a more powerful opening.

 

After the video, the curtain could open on Céline, NOT in a gown, but a jacket combo, or a short dress and a pair of show stopping shoes:

  1. The Power of Love (Maybe a brief pause after "a love that I could not forsake...," music stops. silence. "Cause I'm your..." curtain drop on "Lady..")

I tried to make this as realistic as possible - I know people don't want to hear "Recovering" anymore, but I think this is gonna stay at least through the end of the year until she has new music in English. It could then be replaced. Same goes for "How Does A Moment Last Forever."

 

And yes, I know "PLEASE REMOVE LCMM/RDMH" but let's be honest, they're not going anywhere, so let's just hope that RTD/LIAWN sees the light of day in Vegas... I can't see her NOT doing BOW now that RC and the twins are involved.

 

I PRAY she includes TCOML...

 

If they're going to continue to do the mosh pit at the end, they're going to have to put MHWGO in the middle of the set, like it is now, as it caused a security and general crowd management issue with people going up to the stage and then back to their seats while the show was going on. This is why I think it was removed as the Encore, which means that they will need to do a "curtain closed" moment to have the stage set for the water feature. She could talk a bit, and then do "Love Of My Life" with Kaven. I think the RTD interlude could be played after MHWGO without closing the curtain (like was done during that brief period when TSMGO had an interlude in Vegas).

LOVE all of these Vegas ideas - would be fantastic! If TCOML and Love of My Life were added...oh my gosh, that would just be too beautiful for words. Can't wait to see come September what changes are or aren't made. I had the same thoughts about Black or White as well. I hope the mosh pit stays...nothing is more exciting than those last few songs and feeling as though you're becoming a part of the show. 20 minutes in a Celine mosh pit just about makes my life complete. HAHAHA I think Celine really enjoys the energy of it as well so here's hoping it continues. :)

This happens every time she comes back from tour because she's on fire and renewed and then BAM! Well you know what happens...

I would just die if she did what you suggested! I agree 100% :)

IF, and that's a HUGE "IF," the Vegas show were to be changed to somewhat mirror the current European tour, we all know it would have to be shortened to 90 minutes or less. So, more than likely the songs I've put a "strike" through and changed to red would probably be cut.

Agreed. And that post was supposed to say, "I'm glad..." I went back and edited it. LOL

 

Man, if they added "Love Is All We Need" and "That's The Way It Is" in full to her Vegas show, I'd be far more inspired to go again. The current setlist, though, doesn't interest me much. I'd rather spend that money on other shows I haven't seen yet like "Le Reve" and Cirque du Soleil's Michael Jackson-inspired show, "ONE."

I'm so glad she has added that's the way it is in full this show. Aside from one performance we've never seen during the ltal tour and the millennium concert she never performed this song in a concert setting. People really remember her for that song. The crowd went wild. The acoustic medley on Vegas is so boring and watered down. It's good to hear these songs in their glory. I'd rather her sing a ballad acoustic than to take one of her few uptempos and drain the life out of it.

Beatles LOVE is great too if you haven’t seen it!

 

I saw it. It's AMAZING! I think my favorite moment during that show is "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds." Talk about breathtaking!

Oh, I've completely forgotten about that gem! Thanks for reminding me and making me relisten that. I wish they brought it back this autumn. Scott's interlude arrangements have always been very special and they definitely should gain more attention and recognition.

Even though the stage transofrming in front of the whole audience (like it was when the interlude was playing) is not the thing they should stick too but I guess they might somehow play with it

Does anyone see the Celine ads on Facebook relating to her Vegas show and tickets?

 

There's always hundreds of comments and I've seen in multiple different ads the comments have changed from what they used to be.

 

Used to be pretty much 99% positive. Now there is the occasional idiot whining about her not singing for the president, but even worse i would say only about 70% of the comments are positive. Celine has taken a lot of heat in these comments for the amount she talks in the show. Comment after comment. A couple people aren't bothered by it, but the fact that it is acknowledged in nearly every comment and a bother to many is alarming.

 

And I've even started to see complaints from those about not hearing her songs, the amount of covers, the lack of an encore. All good points..all things that were not a problem as much when the show debut. Really hoping that these can be rectified when the show returns.

I noticed the same thing on Yelp. The overall reviews are still positive though, even when they complain about the talking.

 

Honestly I think she's probably lonely. She's talked a lot less on this tour and it's likely because she's actually going out and doing things and spending time with those outside of her handlers and entourage.
