Well it's kinda like a "theatre" show now, which is a combination of music and the artist talking about his/her life or a certain theme. And this show is called "Céline", it actually is fitting. This is Céline: a mix between singing and talking.

 

Also, it's one thing to hear her talk from the other side of a live stream and to hear her talk live. This is one of the downsides of social media, get to hear/see/know every little detail.

God, that clip of "River Deep, Mountain High" was painful to watch. She is blatently done with the song.

 

I think the instrumentals should be like A New Day and TCWT version. The orchestral sounds a bit boring

Everyone's singing voice will change eventually. Some may use auto-tunes, others may not. What Shania lacked in vocals she made up in visuals. Her show was stunning. Celine and her team could learn a lot from what Shania out on in Vegas. Celine's currently show unfortunately doesn't compare. In order for her to keep her status in Vegas I believe she needs to step it up and change it up.

 

Celine's "A New Day..." was visually stunning. It was actually spectacular. It has been said since the beginning that "Celine" would be much more simplistic and focused on the voice. I'm not sure why we are all still baffled about this.

I agree completely. When I saw her in 2013, the one thing that disappointed me was that every single word was scripted. I recognized it all from YouTube videos. The show was amazing, but I would have loved it if she'd had some spontaneous speeches.

 

 

And this is why most of you are so sick of the show! I appreciate the work Kristinaz does for everyone, but I don't watch the videos every night. I don't want to pick the show apart because I watch it every night, like an incessant rerun. Concerts were not and are still not created for YouTube. Our phones have ruined everything for us, to be quite honest. They help to leave nothing to the imagination, no anticipation...as does the internet. Everything we can think of is at our fingertips, and this is why things we should adore become spoiled to us.

The show doesn't get boring coz every night she does different things like last night she brought to the stage the tattooed woman, that was great! Also the stories before the medley are great! I appreciate the work Kristinaz does as well, not easy!

A little review. The show was good as usual! All I can say is she must have found out about how some of y'all are talking about Botox because she's brought up her face twice now. HDAMLF is fantastic live! It's short because not to much to report. Her voice was better tonight, but that's just my opinion.

I think that part of "about her face" is her joke in the "Medley" part.. Where she jokes about her face being long when sad and when she laughs it gets longer... barnev-cheeks-that-celine-wants..

and she changed just little bits , but the part where she says she is looking at herself in the mirror and does a little stretch, it was funny as hell, she took her time with it. :sofunny: Edited by québecflower

As much as I'd prefer more songs, she clearly enjoys this 'comedy' part of the show. And she's good at it. It shows how down to earth and funny she actually is.

When she saw the girl`s hand and says Oh you have Rene on your hand. She bends down and kisses the girls hand. That is the most adorable and at the same time the saddest moment ever. It choked me up! :down:
