Corded mic makes no sense.

 

Especially during the medley you see Dawn, Elise and Barnev all using cordless and Celine is using a corded mic... seems weird that the star of the show is stuck in the 70s and her band is in the current day. They need to hide the corded mic away from Celine , out of site out of mind! Like I've said before , I don't know why but I hate the damn corded mic, it just bothers me for some reason.

Lol @ the corded mic discussion (again).

 

She uses it because it sounds better in her in-ears and she just loves it, period. Let her.... 👀 In the end it's not about how it looks, it's how it/she sounds and what she's most comfortable using.

Someone in this topic was talking about the vocal Shania's Vegas show- I had always been a big Shania fan but tbh had fallen out of love with her and just lost interest a little- but I've just listened to her Live in Vegas album. Autotuned to the highest heavens- and no-where like the Shania of before. Like Céline, her voice has changed. From This Moment On- just pure electronic auto tune- terrible. The only good thing is the audience sound. Sorry- off topic I suppose... Edited by stevo

Yes but on the bright side I'm pretty sure that Shania Vegas DVD was pretty much all her own songs with complete arrangements.

I think the plan will be to keep up with this show until 2019, then take a year off and come back in 2021 with another show. I will be very surprised if she decides to give up on Vegas.

Everyone's singing voice will change eventually. Some may use auto-tunes, others may not. What Shania lacked in vocals she made up in visuals. Her show was stunning. Celine and her team could learn a lot from what Shania out on in Vegas. Celine's currently show unfortunately doesn't compare. In order for her to keep her status in Vegas I believe she needs to step it up and change it up.

I miss that too.. her energy, her dance, her running haha. Now, even in her comeback in 2011. She doesn't dance, not energetic as usual. Like she's bored now. That's why i still watch her A new day show and TCWT. Sometimes her Live in Memphis.

I miss the older shows. Lots of excitement. I know people complained that they only wanted to hear her voice and that she got lost in the crowd of dancers, etc....I disagree. Less talking and talking and talking. Plus, the whole show was much more of a "SHOW" , both entertaining and showcasing her fabulous vocals. I wish she could do a show a little more along those lines.
