Omg!!! I was not expecting that :wub2: I just saw it and her voice is amazing. I had a feeling that her voice was really better then all of us thought it was. I think just stress and the extreme aridity in Vegas made it harsh. I have high hopes for the tour now, bring it on!!!!

I noticed something.... Her mic head capsule is back to old one (just like what i saw in her a new day show, taking chances, celine show 2011-2013). Maybe that's why it sounds so open.. i like it.

Apparently they'll upload video with the full performance to her Facebook page tomorrow, I hope they'll include the cute final segment with the little girl dressed up as Belle :wub:

 

The ending was shortened, wasn't it?

Guys what happened to Celine yesterday??? She was on fire... Her vocals are better from the songs I've heard... And in MHWGO she did the BEST EVER ad-libs before the key change....

I am absolutely loving this and I have watched it a few times by now. I am thinking that those who don't like this performance are the people who don't like the song.

 

 

And now I'm looking at the details of the video.

 

Notice the bruise on her left upper arm? playing with the twins? ^_^

 

And when singing, she's almost always looking at the lyrics on the teleprompters on the left and right.

Ok take a deep breath. Why couldn't she cut Prince???? Or better yet Incredible??

 

Oh well I'm happy with the addition of HDAMLF.

Got to agree with that. If anything should be cut it should always be a non-Celine song.

It's funny they need to cut a song when they add a new one...

But they let her talk for 20 minutes...

That's like 4 songs....

I noticed she was looking at the telepromters too. I guess she just wanted to get it perfect, so she didn't want to forget a word. I'm glad she's so into it though! I think this performance was amazing!

Yeah like no way she was going to mess this up. And because they are shooting the video as well. She was so stressed and excited at the same time.

Loved it to bits!!

 

And the BATB DVD is going to be released soon, perfect timing :)

Just a tiny bit I hope she changes as I know it's not, but it sounds a bit out of key and dare I say vocally boring simply the "nearrr" in middle section of the song like she did at the bbmas... not slating, simply feedback!

 

But I really want this version on tour!!!!!! :)

 

Edit: I agree... why cut her own songs to save covers... I just pray she doesn't do Prince songs here!

Immortality is a 4 and a half minute song, and Incredible is 4 min. HDAMLF is 3 and a half minutes.... So they cut an additional 5 and a half minutes of music?! Please no. This show was so good when it re-opened in 2015, they need to stop chopping it to shreds!

Really they got rid of "Immortality " thats a bad move, let's keep all of the covers but remove orginals, makes COMPLETE sense, NOT!

Immortality better be added in again. The song even fits with the theme of HDAMLF, so keeping it would keep some coherence in the "yellow dress" segment, since the show is already all over the place.

Excuse me, but the statement that they cut Immortality is based on the words of the one who was on the show today or just on the video Ramona?

 

I don't think they cut Immortality. This song very important for Celine.

Mr. Paganini, Quand ça balance, Incredible is not my favorite part of the show. But Prince medley is amazing!!!

I'm wondering if BOTH incredible and immortality were cut. It seems a bit extreme to cut both songs for one insertion. I hate to be a downer here but this show is getting shorter and shorter, and it kinda dissapoints me. They could easily fit in a song if she cut down the banter by 4 minutes.
