I love to hear her talk, but the talking is out of control and FAR too long and too much!

Incredible is finally out! Next.. Quand Ca Balance... replace it with any Céline's french songs. I think it's also time to let go of Love Can Move Mountains and River Deep, Mountain High but if they will make it like A New Day show or Taking Chances Tour version (arrangement) it will be more exciting than the current one. Like she will sing it properly.

The Prince medley is about the only part of the show I routinely listen to every show. I really have always liked how her voice has sounded on the song since august 2015, and it has changed and gotten better since. Additionally compared to some songs with little to no variation, occasionally from night to night she varies notes and phrasing in both kiss and purple rain. I'm generally not a huge fan of a lot of covers but right now these two are the moment of the show... Unless she replaces this medley with a vocal song that's gonna show off her voice i don't wanna another slow snooze fest song.

I am surprised people are thinking she sounds so good singing HDAMLF. I think she sounds terribly nasal. She's got that "lurve" kind of pronunciation on most words now, she just sounds so clogged in the nose and throat. I am not a fan of the new song, especially since they cut 2 to fit in 1. She shortens so many songs now it almost makes the entire show sound like a medley of songs. I'm so frustrated with the state of the show at the moment. From the song selection and length, old-looking gowns, weird hair color, very nasal voice, it's quite a mess for me.

I just watched this, I am laughing so hard! She is so funny and its amazing that she can make jokes as things happen! I mean the guy going to the bathroom and coming back, really great! As Rene used to say , she is a clown! I for one , love the talks

Everyone probably can see this performance in their own way. For me Céline sounds very good singing HDAMLF. It was a 100% live performance. In some parts was noticeably different from the studio version and I love it. Maybe try to listen to this on a good headphone, you may change your mind...

I liked the HDMLF performace, her voice was beautiful, I did not find the voice very different from the studio version, I liked it, Celine was beautiful, her hair was beautiful, the makeup was also, they finally got the makeup done, in these last awards presentations They made mistakes in makeup and hair.

Some that don't like the singing are saying she sounds more nasal. When I was watching her monologue before the medley yesterday I thought she was was sniffling a lot so I'm thinking she might have allergies or cold.

Ok, this is going to sound a little jaded, but......I'm just an informer:

 

Go to Tripadvisor and look at some recent reviews. She is getting a lot of negative reviews based on two things. The top being her 'rambling on.' and talking way too much.

 

She needs an intervention for this in Vegas. It's embarrassing. An older friend of mine who is a fan recently said "She sounds so stupid when she talks. She needs to just shut up and sing." His words not mine.

 

Secondly, the lack of material that is her own. One review even mentioned recovering as a song that's not hers lol. However, case in point-nobody knows that song. it was a flop and in my own personal opinion falls flat. It sucks.

 

This all being said, I have seen this show and I love it. But i saw it before she babbled on. That would of grew tiring, because watching videos, it's cringeworthy. As much as I love Celine, all this talking is alienating fans.

 

Furthermore, add more songs and drop all these damn songs that are not yours.

I was just watching TMZ Live and they were reporting that Isis has made a terrorist threat on all the big Las Vegas acts. I have been fearing something like this for awhile now. All I gotta say is that Celine's security better be in full force. Between this news and Celine's upcoming tour, my stomach is in knots. I am just grateful that she isn't walking though the audience anymore.

I hate to say it, because I adore these little talking intermissions, but the talking is getting long. I do agree.

Yes. I am naturally concerned for Celine, if some kind of explosion goes off and she's in the room. Of course I am also concerned for everyone who would be involved. It just sad that people even has to worry about such issues.

You can see Celine's poster on the Caesars billboard in the video. The Colosseum has security and metal detectors upon entering which I'm sure will be even more heightened after this. The big problem IMO is the casino, and any of the hotels in general, which you can just walk right into with absolutely no security. I'm sure they are taking this very seriously. Welcome to Vegas-stagnation show! Haha instead of 2 for 1, they're giving 1 and removing 2! So if they had added 2 new songs, does that mean they would have removed 4 more?

The show has NO coherence. It's just so random and has no vision. She needs a masterful director like Dragone again, a great setlist with more Celine material and less covers. They need to make use of the screen and the lights to the full force. Shania, Cher and Mariahs shows took better advantage of what the colosseum has to offer in terms of stage and lights. There is portions of the show that are good but as a total complete show, it's a very tired version and it's time to just end it.

I see what you are saying. I can see what they would think also. Thinking things like, 'she is selling out regularly, why change?' ect ect. Although there were some reviews on tripadvisor that were low the majority were high. These type of reviews don't elicit change. Who knows, maybe they don't even pay attention to reviews from the average person who pays to see the show? Lol, hell, I can answer my own question there because we make reviews constantly and nothing happens! Maybe they need some unfavorable reviews from big press outlets? So to sum up my reply, yes I agree but I think/guess they are happy with status quo. Que Sera Sera!

While we complain let's watch this because this shows Celine's talent and her powerful voice! I personally don't mind the talking I think it makes the show personal! I saw her in 2015 and one thing I wish she did more was talk! I loved the visuals back then! I saw Immortality when she did the duet with herself and it really was a spectacular aspect to the show! I'm not a fan of butchering up the show either so I'm with you guys on that! I miss all the songs she's cut! TBH I hate TSMGO being the final song because it's a weird way to end the show! I'm convinced someone's gonna jump on stage and run to her and get hit by the curtain closing so I think MHWGO is the only song to end a show with! I do miss Immortality I mean that's an original song she cut! Cut the stinking prince duet and add in a song like Lovin Proof or a better French song! I was hoping for Encore Un Soir to make it back to Vegas after the 2016 tour! But inspite of all these changes I still love my Celine and will admire her strength and beauty for the rest of my life <3

I still love her show though! I think HDAMLF makes up for Immortality and Incredible because it has that special magic to it that I love in my Celine!! Let's also remember she's going on 50 and she's getting tired probably!! I want Celine to be happy and I know she's trying her best! Before I even get to the fact that I am so amazed and still kinda wondering why but really happy she did How Does A Moment Last Forever, let me also add that Recovering has gotten better in my opinion. Now first off, I loved it and thought it has been awesome since day one, but, I can also tell she's really playing with it a bit and I am really loving it. Some of the tiny, little, seemingly insignificant things she is doing with moments/notes of that song, it's giving it a whole new depth to it. I love it. I loved it then, too, so... All By Myself was amazing too, the middle, wow. OMG. I have heard her do that before but not quite like then. I really love when she does things like that. The same thing with my heart will go on. I love the way she played around with the middle right before the final chorus. And yes, I am aware that the final chorus was probably playback, not going there but for those who feel it's important that I know it, got it. Duly noted! Thanks for the concern. I really really loved How Does A Moment Last Forever. Of course it was lowered a half-step, but it was still really neat. Is it just me or did she sound kinda nervous/scared/hesitant to actually start it? Really quite powerful, wow! Seriously. And OMG how cute was that kid who came up to, it sounds like, bring her something after that song? I heard the video from last night, where she said she met with that kid before the show and then she asked the kid if she saw the movie and how old she was. Seven. How lucky a seven-year-old gets to not only see her live, but meet her. She may be too young to appreciate it, or maybe not but kids do tend to change their minds on what they're in to as they grow older. But that girl might appreciate it later. Either way, I truly, sincerely hope, (and I love the way Celine says "sincerely" and "my both parents, sorry, I know it's wrong in English but I love it), but I sincerely hope she continues performing How Does A Moment Last Forever. I hope that girl remembers this moment because when I met Celine a year ago, I can't tell you how special I felt after I talked to her!!! She really is sincere and special!! I love her energy and that little girl I bet was so overwhelmed with all the people like any 7 year old but man oh man was that precious!!!

The little girl who came up on stage... I often think those things are silly but she was so damn cute! A great moment and quite emotional. Her 19 minute stand up routine before the medley would have normally sent me to sleep or to the bar... but she had a good crowd and he jokes about the man going pee pee seemed to land!

 

The film visuals behind HDAMLF were amazing and imagine a segue of BATB going into that with the animated scenes for the first song morphing into the new track and new film.

 

Add in Titanic scenes if they can get the rights and suddenly it's a very memorable moment for those who aren't diehard Celine fans who check her forum daily haha. I PROMISE I have a life outside of this lol
