Well it's kinda like a "theatre" show now, which is a combination of music and the artist talking about his/her life or a certain theme. And this show is called "Céline", it actually is fitting. This is Céline: a mix between singing and talking.

 

Also, it's one thing to hear her talk from the other side of a live stream and to hear her talk live. This is one of the downsides of social media, get to hear/see/know every little detail.

I'd rather listen to her talking a bit spontaneously than the speeches she gave in the past, like during AND. Can't stand them "anyone wanna try that chair?" , can't listen to them. The speeches hardly changed through the entire run.

i think she likes it , a small price to pay to hear her sing. I find her real fuuny speaking of myself... :)

Someone in this topic was talking about the vocal Shania's Vegas show- I had always been a big Shania fan but tbh had fallen out of love with her and just lost interest a little- but I've just listened to her Live in Vegas album. Autotuned to the highest heavens- and no-where like the Shania of before. Like Céline, her voice has changed. From This Moment On- just pure electronic auto tune- terrible. The only good thing is the audience sound. Sorry- off topic I suppose...

 

I don't care the studio albums are very good

I agree completely. When I saw her in 2013, the one thing that disappointed me was that every single word was scripted. I recognized it all from YouTube videos. The show was amazing, but I would have loved it if she'd had some spontaneous speeches.

and I think she honestly had fun with the you wanna try that chair bit. I really do cuz she laughed through it often. That was the only scripted part of AND I liked. Well, no, I liked the dedication to her son before If I Could!

Please please PLEASE Stop saying that the show is boring....

 

It really isn't and I recently spoke to someone who saw it for the first time and they said it was amazing (which i know) and it hit home that if you choose to watch videos and live streams online - then you ARE GOING TO GET BORED. Just the same as you would watching a west end show night after night and online - EVERY DAY.

 

The show is classy - and full of talent.

 

I was in Vegas this weekend - and both nights I was there she was on - but I didn't go. I will go again when she changes it up a bit - not because i'm bored but its satisfied what i need to see for now, and I have other things to do in Vegas.

 

The show sells out - soooooo. What is the problem?!

 

We all know what will happen - she'll go on tour in june and suddenly - SHES AMAZING!!! Of course!! It won't be the Vegas show - which is a different genre and show altogether.

 

If you choose to watch the same show over and over and over, then that's your choice - but don't say its boring. Its perfect for Celine - stability, not much to set up and change - and anyway, she's rehearsing hard for songs for the tour. She's got it made and who are we to say what she should do? She's got to appeal to a wider audience in Vegas compared to her tours - she won't be doing your favourite rare songs - Why would she?

 

Enjoy the fact she probably performs more that anyone else at the moment - as she won't be around for ever.

I actually thought that was adorable and they seemed to have fun with it. I just wanted her to say something I hadn't already memorized!

Is it just me or does the crowd get more fired up for BATB now that she is singing HDAMLF? Seems like the crowd is really cheerin loudly the last few nights.

I do not know if it would be too boring for me personally if Celine talks a lot during the concert. But it is every evening international audience there and not everyone understands English. My mother would be bored, and perhaps also annoyed because she does not understand anything. I do not find it self-evident that everyone understands English and perhaps the people are angry.

Are you in concert every evening or do you work there? I am always wondering about the videos you post every night and just wanted to ask now.

 

She collects all videos from instagram from the people who goes to see the show :)

it is a good point, i wonder how many people do not understand english and are attending the show.

If it were a show in which celine almost sings, it would not matter. The people do not know the show. They only know that celine is a singer. That she tells a lot, the people do not know when they buy a ticket.
