She should open her Vegas show with TPOL, that would be magical like on the Tour

 

That show clearly needs to be reworked anyway, a setlist similar to the one from the summer Tour could work IMO.

I agree!! She could talk for hours and I never will get bored!! I saw her last year in Vegas literally the first week back from being gone on tour and her speech was longer than supposed to be and she went into very deep details lol!!

I like black or white and love of my life on the tour. I just hope those covers remain solely as memories from this summer and not to be incorporated into Vegas. It sounds like something they would do though - come back with same watered down show plus 2 covers.

 

I surrender, the acoustic medley, and the jazz medley all need replaced. Some of the hits need slightly reworked as well.

I agree!! I wouldn't mind Open Arms returning. She really did that song wonders and I love the way she sang it. Sure it's a cover, but still. It makes sense.

 

Because they proved they can this summer, the biggest thing I want is IACBTMN and TPOL broken up. I liked the medley at first, although now it's getting old to me, but even though the performances this summer weren't full, it was very refreshing to have them separated. I think they should cut the jazz medley and replace it with the Bach Interlude, and flow into whatever son they want to put there. I would LOVE to see RTD/LIAWN/THLAL/Misled instead of Kiss/PR. I love the way she does Kiss but it's had its time. I think the timing would work if she cut down on the banter before the acoustic medley at least, if they want to keep it anyways.

" and then "IM ALIVE" and then that's when the curtian falls. Could be epic!

I do agree with all of you guys. The show needs many changes now 😂 costumes, songs. I don't understand why she keeps insisting doing pretty much the same show for so long. A New Day... got through many and many changes, it evolved and grew to the limit.

I thought I quoted this last nigh! Evidently not! but I so agree about I'm alive! Maybe she could come out in trousers or a jumpsuit or something different for a change. Idk if haute couture would flow the way she dances through that song lol but yes. I agree because everybody expects it during the chorus or a big moment at the end (like With One More Look at You) but dropping at the beginning would really get the audience going again!!

I think it will not be great if the closing song will be "It's all coming back to me now". Her recent version of that songs. She just keeps repeating the ending like "it's all coming back to me.. baby it's all coming it's all coming back to me yeah.. it's all coming back.." maybe it's time to sing the real ending lyrics to that song.

Only if she's extending her contract. Otherwise it will end in 2019 and then she could tour the US if she wanted. Rumours saying she's negotiating but nothing official yet.

In fairness that has been rumoured since 2011 when the show started hasn't it and yet there has never been any official confirmation. Although in fairness a lot of that time has been complicated by Rene's illness and death. There's a large part of me that thinks she won't renew, or if she does it will be massively reduced. I can see her slowing down come 2019.

I dont get it why she should please the average non fans who come to her vegas show. What they expect actually? To come to Celine Dion show and ask her to sing Michael Jackson's? Adele's? Sia's? Oh come on... you come to Celine Dion show and the title is Celine, you should expect to hear Celine Dion song for sure!!! More material from her album please, not the covers.... !!

I have been reading a lot of fan reviews of the Live 2017 and the Las Vegas show....and the most recent ones.All commonly say that she has an amazing voice but everyone seems to complain about her talking too much!!Like excessively....and people have written that they want to see her sing and not talk and that the show is a waste of money...I hope this isn't going to cause a lot of damage...

the problem is that her chatter is nervous and awkward and she thinks she's personalizing the show

If she made some types of "diva-ish" jokes it would be received much better.

Quand Ca Balance doesn't appeal to any fans except people who fly in from France and then they know who's cover she's singing! I think that song is boring and I want either Encore Un Soir or Pour Que Tu M'aimes Encore to make the setlist!!
