I like her voice there, but there is something so weird, like a poor production, I dont know exactly, in Vegas everything is perfect, I didnt understand this production now, its like a demo or something....... There is something wrong here! Edited by CelineTheBest5

Just imagine one second it's not the 2008's version but it was recorded last week :cry: . In a sense I like the orchestration, but it's too slow and don't talk about the AUTOTUNE, ALLO.....

Encore un soir only appeals to the francophone audience and the hardcore fans. TSMGO appeals to the masses, especially after her high-profile appearance that will have a worldwide impact.

Yeah I agree. I like her voice there, but there is something wrong with the production, it's like at times it doesn't sync up. I don't hate it though! I think it's okay, her voice is okay, except for that little scream bit in the middle. Other then that I think it's a good song, different, but I don't see why everyone has to hate it...

Release the Beethoven Vegas Version and she will have a #1 smash hit all around the world! Open your eyes!

I think everyone should calm down a little. I think it's obvious that Celine will sing the Vegas version at the awards. She doesn't have to rehearse that version since she performs it every night. It's a no brainer.

 

I truly think this song came out of the Celine vault with all this hype.

Yeah, I love the intro and let's say overall idea.. For me it's missed opportunity to release something really great.

I think part of TC secretly works for Mariah and do the best they can :hmm:

It could have had a huge positiv impact....I don't want to think about the bad consequences, they are ruining her career... I mean it's QUEEN, a symbol in world of music.

Thank you very much! I wholeheartedly agree. They'll do the Vegas arrangement at the billboards, her band is all right there it's a no-brainer. I do agree that they released it for the hype, and that they could/should have edited it better, but still. Céline especially needs her fans to be with her at this time :)

I think that song is How celine feels Now. This song don t want to become a hit ( it already is) but it shows her soul Now that she is going on without rene. I like it. It s my personal opinion. Edited by debora

While I appreciate the attempt by TeamCeline to FINALLY get with the times, their execution with the single for "The Show Must Go On" is, well, uh...interesting?

 

Off, but on topic: Can anyone explain to me why TeamCeline releasing a digital single for "The Show Must Go On" is in no way commercialistic and capitalizing off of Rene's death. Yet, when I recommended "The Collector's Series - Volume Two" be released with "The Colour Of My Love," the Frank Sinatra duet "All The Way," and "Ne me quitte pas" as dedications to him, I was vilified for even thinking such a heinous thing? Unless the sales for "The Show Must Go On" go to some cancer charity, I see quite the double-standard here on CDF.

Wow, that excitement didn't last long. What in gods name is that noise at 2:43? It sounds like a bird screeching, there's no way they could let that stay in, it hurt my ears! I hate to say it, but I don't think this is any tour version set to studio arrangement, her voice lately isn't sounding that fantastic. She's just been under a lot of stress since Rene died. She sounds very clogged up in the nose if you ask me. I actually like the arrangement, it's a bit slower and not the same as the stunning Vegas arrangement, but I still like it. I have one little shred of hope the version they release tomorrow is different, this sounded good in parts, and bad in parts. It also sounds auto-tuned, or mechanical or something, I cant quite say for sure.

I was just kidding with my remark, sorry if this came off differently. The only thing I can't stand in this studio version is the auto-tune, it's way too much. And that horrid note at 2:42. I actually enjoyed listening to the arrangement, a nice little breather from listening to the Vegas version since August.

2.42 is the worst moment of any of her recordings. Sounds as if someone is struggling her! Bad vocals and awful production.

 

That part will be the sound track to the next big Halloween movie this fall. Lol
