I feel sad for Celine how much pressure is on her shoulders when she might read our comments. But someone has to say it. Apparently her productionteam didn't!

Oh it's bad, so bad. I gave it a chance, too, thinking it might get better but it was just the opposite. Why release this if it's not good? Queen is only one of the most popular bands in history. People will not be kind.

 

Our only hope is an unprecedented crash of Spotify's, Pandora's, YouTube's, and Apple's (what else am I missing) systems. 🙏

I think they are oportunists, maybe they just wanted to give us a gift... but really?

 

the problem is that the mic feed's quality was really poor so you can edit it as much as you want but it will never sound crystal clear

I'm pretty sure the french album has nothing to do with this (not worried at all)

sorry they didn't have time to finish the album in for June release but they have time to record another cover which is not new for Celine to perform

Well now I listen to it many times (yeah, like half an hour or something haha).

 

I prefer her Vegas version and think that this version is too much auto-tunes and that her music and voice doesnt sync as well as I wish it should.

 

Still I am very happy we got this, I love to hear her singing this song and it always gives me goosebumps, its sad but also gives hope to me.

 

I wish and hope that people that is not her fans will enjoy it and Im looking forward to se her preformance sunday. What is the time for europe? Where can we watch it online? Think I will be at work...

I really hope you're right. Because thinking of her recent recordings, "L'Hymne" was also awful to my ears...

 

So, I'm scared...

What saddens me as a fan is I am only going to be purchasing this single out of sheer support for her because of everything she has been through recently. If this were any other time, or under different circumstances, I would not be buying this single.

Me neither. We are talking humberto Gattica here. He would fall out of his chair when he hears this. He would not approve this to come in public.

It sounds like someone woke up this morning with an idea to release TSMGO. One hour later this person was in the studio mixing the song with one hand, while with the other hand he was calling Team Celine to cancel the release of Encore un soir on FB so that it doesn't disturb the release of this "genuine masterpice" that he came up with. Of course everybody forgot to tell it to Céline that she actually has a new English single out today.

They didn't even have to go to all that work. All they had to do was send any Beethoven version from Las Vegas straight to Itunes. Would be a million times better. :pinch:

This cover is bad because of its poor production and strained vocals which have nothing - NOTHING - to do with the years between the live singing and the actual recording.

 

Right. And besides it's bad because it adds NOTHING to the live version :wink:

 

Then the live version is still much better and a studio version was totally uncalled for... unless they were matching the live performance or beating it, which they didn't :bye1:

I'm not for the single being canceled. However, I do hope people will message her team with HONEST feedback, both good and bad.

I agree. I am just worried and almost sure that 9 out of 10 people will dislike it. It will be worse than YSMANL back in 2002. :mellow:
