I'm still praying for a Bethoveen/Vegas version with Lindsay. hahahah I'll believe that this version by The Red Heads is just the TTEOTW version that leaked.

Just listened to the whole thing, sounds very rushed and Celine is not in great shape :mellow:

 

What did they do... even the big high not on the bridge sounds weird, what did they do with her voice.... I would not surprised if it's not her studio voice...

Yeah it really sounds weird, at 1:00 there's a weird distortion and the vocals are disconnected with the music .... not what I expected :crybaby: :crybaby: I really wanted a proper version of this :crybaby: :crybaby: Edited by Loup_garou

I have the feeling they took the voice of the 2008's live version and built an orchestra around it, and to be honest I don't like it so much, she sounds weird....

 

Agreed, it sounds very much like a remix where the vocals are placed somewhere different. And Lindsey Stirling didn't even debut until 2010, so I have a feeling that most of the instrumentals are added.

They could have just added the Orchestra and the song would be awesome. Lindsey Stirling destroys it with the way she plays the violine

I think it's possible that the '2008' version was actually recorded in 2009/2010 when she went into the studio to re-record the playbacks for the film and DVD. She was in a similar state vocally at that time.

 

Now I'm just confused because it sounded just like the Verison that played at the credits of the movie but it seems like the chorus was auto-tuned heavily. I don't remember them being that auto-tuned in theatres. :hmm:

Do you remember if the violin solo at about 2:30 was part of what you heard at the theater? Because I would assume that's Lindsey Stirling's part, but she didn't debut yet in 2008/09.

i dont know what happend with this song, but her voice, some parts are not even single worthy!

I can't remember clearly, maybe I'm wrong guys I'm sorry. But I will say the into and the vocals on everything but the chorus sound exactly the same. I don't know if they just added the violin part after or what and the chorus sounds too auto-tuned which could have all been done to prepare the single in the last days.

I would be absolutely disappointed if they "lied" about Lindsey Stirling simply for the hype. :cry:

What's wrong with TEAM CELINE, why did they not ask her to re sing and use the Beethoven introduction, so STUPID, With Scott Price they created a GEM....

I just heard the song. I'm glad we have this studio version and I'm also glad it came so suddenly because I didn't have time to grow my expectations. Now I'm not so disappointed although I'm not happy either. It sounds a bit rushed and Céline's voice doesn't sound so good.

my god it's ugly. you say what you want but it has really lost its luster voice. I like less and less voice. I do not regret not go see the show in summer

It's possible they've taken the vocals but added to the backing track with new violin parts

It's really strange because you can hear at 1:48 that those are the original backing vocals from Queen's version... It seems so rushed and not well edited. :down: I still hope this is just a demo version!

Release the live Version from Vegas, which is a Million times better!
