I'm 99.9% sure that it will finally be the version she recorded in 2008 when on tour. They played the song in the movie theatre of the Celine Through the Eyes of the World. If so its amazing!

Yeah it played in the ending credits at the movie theatre of CTEOTW. But they never included it on the DVD or Blu-Ray.

Because this was recorded in 2008 before she ever even recorded the Vegas version.

I really can't tell if it's from 2008, but it sounds like she didn't take much time to record it. Maybe I'm wrong. But it still sounds great!!

Until now, with Scott Price, he has mastered the whole management: with the new show (the new arrangements and so on), the social medias (more posts on FB, instagram etc), the AMA, the Sinatra tribute, the Bubblé Xmas special and the whole publicity around the BBMA and the new single.

 

He is on top. I hope Céline will be more adventurous music wise, but marketing wise, we can already say that Aldo proves he is the right person besides her.

 

Creating hype with Encore Un Soir for the French market, and all the sudden, offering English material for the English speaking market.

 

I don't know how it will goes with the charts, but bravo for the idea. Keep going like this! :clap:

I don't think you have anything to worry about. I think they just reached into the Celine vault to capitalize on the hype lately. I bet she will perform the Vegas version on Sunday, it only makes sense because it's already rehearsed.

I have the feeling they took the voice of the 2008's live version and built an orchestra around it, and to be honest I don't like it so much, she sounds weird....

Just listened to the whole thing, sounds very rushed and Celine is not in great shape

 

I think it's possible that the '2008' version was actually recorded in 2009/2010 when she went into the studio to re-record the playbacks for the film and DVD. She was in a similar state vocally at that time.
