I'm sorry to say that but whether you like or not...it's so bad from A to Z.

 

I can't believe that it's the same vocalist who brought amazing renditions of other covered powerful ballads ( It's all coming back, Alone, The power of love etc...).

 

Not only the vocals, but the production is so poor. Gosh! Amateurish groups on youtube are better.

 

Why didn't they release a live version if they wanted to capitalize on Sunday's performance?

 

Sorry but supporting her this time is not gonna help. That's the first release under Aldo's management and if we don't disagree right from the start on such unprofessional stuff, we'll keep on getting bad things.

 

Anyway - looking @ first results on Itunes - flop is on its way. Well deserved ( and I really hate to say that but it's needed).

Please don't hate me people. I love and support Celine with my whole heart and soul :wub: but... this production is awful, dated, poor, no energy, too slow, no edge, flat vocals, poorly mixed and I only pray she'll perform the Vegas version on Sunday. Who produced that? Someone stuck in the 90-ties .... I hope it doesn't make a cut in her future album..

It's not the best rendition she did, but i love the violin on the song and i like the studio version. It's not perfect, it's not crystal, it's not what i expected/wanted, but i like this version. It's different.

Why don't they release a proper Beethoven Version from Vegas with a Video of the life performance. First,it would cost them nothing, second, it would be epic!

 

And don't include Lindsey Stirling. Include Scott Price and the Vegas Orchester to impress everyone with the dramatic amazing Vegas Version.

 

I agree so much ! And they have nice recording from Vegas, we saw one in nightline interview this Wednesday ! It's a shame.

And that violin thing... It's awful!

When I'm wrong I will say I'm wrong. And I was wrong. The only way to really get a good sense of how this all comes together is having it blasted in your car or on really good speakers. I still think they should use the biggest version for the performance on Sunday but not too shabby for the first release under Aldo.

Not a fan of this song at all... too many covers... this one doesn't add anything new to Queen or to Celine. It seems she can't move her mouth sometimes...so sadly weird. I don't think she went to the studio to record it...or with the intention to record it for a single release. Sometimes I like her voice...sometimes she's not even her voice. And yeah it sounds like TC era or even the version of a french show she did earlier (if I remember correctly).

My screech will go on and on...... :giggle: Other than that part, which to me jumps out and slaps me in the face, the song is not bad. :)

 

But the thing is - she sings an extraordinary, epic version every night. When you have that, why would you release "not bad"? I don't get it.

We never recieved something so poorly edited during the 3 decades Celine worked with Rene.

 

Whether Aldo thought this was good or thought it is pretty bad but went away with it, we DO have a reason to worry about. :mellow:

The violin solo is the only saving grace of that version IMHO. Everything else...oh dear. It's depressingly embarrassing for someone of Celine's stature. Whoever engineered this needs to be shown the door.

I like it. I like the voice - her raspy and raw voice, her earthiness, like on LMBTL album - it's her current voice. The 90s clarity is gone. And that's ok. Actually this rocky and soulful voice fits the song perfectly. I do not know if the scream at 2.45 is due to production or real but this is just what needs to be there: utterly rage. When I close my eyes, I hear a rock star.

I like the arrangements. The slow pace (like a rock lullaby saying my heart is bleedin but that's ok), the violin is like a conversation (someone said it's old fashioned, well it's a 80s rock song and this is sooooo good). The sadness and melancholia in the intro and outro are exactly what needs to be at this time of her life. :wub: :wub: :cry:

 

Conclusion: brava :wub: :clap:

A singer who gives permission to someone to edit a bad live performance and pass it as a studio recording is not in need of support. She needs to get it together again.

 

I also fail to see why someone would need ''music industry experience'' to tell that the vocals are strained and that the production is awful. :mellow: Seems there is consensus on that.

 

And please, please! Nobody woke up yesterday and decided to hate on her new recording. We all love Celine, hence our disappointment.

 

 

yes, we hate it because we love Celine. If it's mariah i will never care.

The Vevo version sounds better indeed.

But still, when you receive the ICON Award and get to release a single because of it, why oh why would you not release the hot and amazing Vegas version you sing so well, and that people LOVE!!!???

Something cool from Céline was possible...

I know she will do just fine on Sunday... I just wish the single would have been perfection... and fresh!!

Even radios might have wanted to play the Beethoven version!!

We will get a great live performance but a bad "studio" version that will live forever! :unsure:

Is there are way to find out who produced it? Usually we got this kind of informations in the album booklets, but this time it's different. I don't know how it works with digital releases. We shouldn't be deprived of that information. I think we have a right to know.

The production of song is very poor!!!! I can't believe That the Team Celine have made a very poor versión!!!! The version need more guitars, more percussion, a great choir... the song hasn't lost the magic!

I want the version of TCWT of 2008!!!!

I LOVE Céline but my opinión Says the true!!!!

Because vocals are live! No studio at all. What a pity.

I see lots of comments on YouTube about "what happened to her voice".

I mean, let's be honest guys, it's not any different than how she's sounding live these days. Her voice cracks here and there all the time. That's her standard at this point of her life. And it's OK! Let's give her a break.

But that doesn't mean she can't sound a lot better in studio were her voice isn't tired and she can do lots of takes!

Can we be at least positive about this release?

 

Otherwise they think *** you fans,you want us to be more active and ahead of things, now we are, is the song bad... haha

And we never ever gonna get something like this.
