I just wonder when TLYM will be added back. That's probably as much taking chances as we will get lol. Personally I think TLYM can stay gone for now and take LCMM/RDMH with it.

See, I think with Scott, he could take TLYM and incorporate the orchestra and make it have a new sound. As well as a new meaning for Celine. But this is coming from someone whose favorite song is TLYM.

I'm not against that, if the arrangement was great and she actually performed a live version instead of playback it could be great under Scotts direction.

Tlym and Idan along with one heart and taking chances should all be rehearsed for an acoustic set. There should be more songs and should rotate. She could pick a few songs each night not necessarily same each night

Joe, first if you add "Miles To Go (Before I Sleep)" Don t forget a lot of her fans that go ARE NOT DIE-HARD fans like us, So when making your list ,to TC make sure that yu add songs that where popular on radio,

It is not a letter which is going to be written with the sole intent of expressing every single Celine Dion fan's dream setlists. I hear ya. However, we do at least have SOMETHING. We have nothing, as far as I know, for "Then You Look At Me" and "Just A Little Bit Of Love." The two performances we have of "Somebody Loves Somebody" are good, but they forced Celine to remain in one position. If brought to a real stage, she could really let loose with this attitude-filled song. I can't even call the flight attendant cheesefest thing for "You And I" a performance. We really need to have at least one solid clip of that song live. "Ten Days" has a few good clips here and there. Though, I long for the "A New Day Has Come" TV special version to finally see the light of day.

"To Love You More" could be orgasmic with the right treatment from Scott when utilizing the full orchestra. I agree, though, I'd only want it brought back if it were to be performed live.

I still don't understand why multiple songs weren't picked for constant rotation for the acoustic set. Songs like "Eyes On Me," "Taking Chances," "Falling Into You," "You And I" and "Let's Talk About Love" would work great for it. Heck, "Let's Talk About Love" has already been performed in an acoustic fashion in the past. (Skip to 2:45)

"Breakaway" is the only realistic one right now since Scott has actually talked about that song having been rehearsed. However, I am sure there are plenty of other songs Celine may bring back before she finishes her time in Vegas

I have no problem with it at all. Granted I'm a single dude living alone in the states with good health so all my money just banks up and I'm close enough to where I can see her often.... I think a lot of the frustration stems from many fans who live out of country and may just not have the funds, thus making it more difficult.

 

It's easy to draw a lot of negatives when looking at her career and the way things are handled and decisions with releases, videos, singles, proper promo, etc all that .... Celine just really has NEVER been that artist. She is more of a touring or performance singer than she is a studio hit maker. I think this is clear when you look at the numher of performances she gives. When you add up the total number of all her residency concerts as well as her tours over the years it is absolutely astronomical. No one performs at that rate for that many years consistently.

 

We can *CENSORED* about a million different things but one thing we cannot complain about is that amount of TIME she has given the fans.

To be more specific, I should have said performing rather than touring. I know the residency show doesn't have nearly the stress that a tour does, but the number of shows in as many years as there were it's still important to note. Still stress on her voice!! When you take that into consideration she's literally been performing all but a handful of years 2000-2002, 2010, .....

I really hope Ordinaire is added to the Setlist. It has so much emotion, and is great song to highlight the orchestra and Celine. Imagine how amazing it would be in the colosseum. I could see a cello solo leading into the beginning of the strings. The solo would give her time to change, plus it would flow perfectly into the beginning of the song. Have her enter center stage like she used to with the bond medley. Use the lighting they have now for the song, and have her wear something similar to what she wore in the bond medley. I think it would be amazing. Definitely could be one of the highlights of the show.

I really love the song, it's actually my favorite from the current setlist, but I'm afraid she'd get used to it and lose her power if she added to the Vegas setlist and sang it every night....

Yes I totally agree. Doesn't have to be but it is what it is. She won't even acknowledge that she toured in France or Canada, someone, somewhere told her to keep it separate so, yes, two different Celines.

Still won't stop me from going though.

Because her Vegas audience is completely flat and deadly boring. 90% of people that attends each night are not fans, they go just because, because they're in Vegas and seeing a show is part of the visit.

 

However I would say that 98% of people attending her concerts in Paris they are fans. You can see the difference in their enthusiasm

If she starts talking about it the interviewer cuts her off like the ET woman did in the latest interview. That and they make it very difficult to purchase her French-language albums here.

There are loads of other things to do in the Las Vegas area. Many of the Cirque du Soleil productions are quite amazing!
