Céline's Return to Colosseum Live Stream - February 23, 2016

Now i would LOVE her to record a studio version of Somewhere over the rainbow the way she sing it in Vegas. Its sooo beautiful!

The way her touring career is handled is exemplary: She gives an average amount of concerts in Vegas every year and also has the chance to go for mini tours!

 

You might say I am being very positive about this but I think most of you would have the same impression had the Asian tour not being canceled.

 

I have no problem with it at all. Granted I'm a single dude living alone in the states with good health so all my money just banks up and I'm close enough to where I can see her often.... I think a lot of the frustration stems from many fans who live out of country and may just not have the funds, thus making it more difficult.

 

It's easy to draw a lot of negatives when looking at her career and the way things are handled and decisions with releases, videos, singles, proper promo, etc all that .... Celine just really has NEVER been that artist. She is more of a touring or performance singer than she is a studio hit maker. I think this is clear when you look at the numher of performances she gives. When you add up the total number of all her residency concerts as well as her tours over the years it is absolutely astronomical. No one performs at that rate for that many years consistently.

 

We can *CENSORED* about a million different things but one thing we cannot complain about is that amount of TIME she has given the fans.

I just got back from the show last night (Friday) She was on FIRE and the crowd was on Fire! God how she feeds off of that! Needs it really. No changes, all the same but it is Sooooo much better when she feels the energy!! I love that she doesn't walk through the audience during Immortality, she sounds fantastic without the interruptions. (Lol this is probably a sticky issue with me but, again, she said she sings the same songs over and over because it's our fault..... )

The impromptu "Rolling on the River" Fricken Amazing!!!

I was up in the "mosh" pit and man is that something! She is two feet away and she's dancing and the crowd is dancing up storm! Starting to really use the hip action for "Kiss"!

I loved the growl she did in RDMH!

Can't get any better bootleg than Tim's.

I remember the days when people loved the song and were so happy when she added it to the first incarnation of "Céline"...

 

I really liked at the time, maybe because it was closer to the album release and i though the video was gonna be amazing idk,i still had hopes for LBTL video.. but now.. it's kinda strange for me, and it's not that i don't like the song ( i skip it most of the times though, but sometimes i feel like listening to it)

For me this song does not fit the concert, she has much better songs! But if she is still singing it might be coz she liked or have fun with it on stage.

One more little note about Friday. I ran into Scott Price in the hallway of Caesars on the 17th floor, he is very nice. It was just us in the elevator so I had a captive audience,lol.

I asked him how things were ect, and he said that she is killing it in rehearsals for the tour! She is excited! She is trying to stay healthy and is tired but looking forward to this break. I told him that BBAs was a treat and great! I told him to tell her that EUS is exquisite! I also asked him if he saw the National Enquires article about how she is love with Kavin and how Kavin can't take his eyes off of her and he actually said yes he saw it and we laughed!!! Nice man!

What a great elevator ride!

People have gotten the chance to talk with Celine herself, Aldo, Rene (in the past), Scott, Mego, etc., yet they just talk about how excited they are for things, how amazing those people are, etc. Then, they come onto an UNofficial Celine Dion message board and talk about how much they wish more original material was incorporated into the shows. They talk about how much they CRAVE "Then You Look At Me," "Cherche encore," "A cause" and "I Know What Love Is" to the people who matter the least in regards to these matters. I will never understand it.
