Ok pure guess on my part but I'm wondering if Celine perhaps has been feeling a bit under the weather...first off I noticed today she struggled a tiny bit on the high notes with MHWGO(might be nothing might have been monitor problems) and then I saw this pic which appears to show her coughing. https://www.instagra...?taken-at=26768 Now I'm not saying she can only cough if she's sick but I'm adding that along with the fact she's cut the walk through the last few nights....just a thought might be totally wrong....don't kill me.

I never have honestly appreciated that ending. I like how she does it now, she hits the same note she does in the lipped note. My favorite version of the ending are the ones where that Eb5 is strong enough to convince me she could in fact nail the other one if she chooses too.

Yes but there are many times in most performances where it shows her voice is not in the best shape...

We have quite different ears lol.

I hear her trying hard to hit the high notes without straining but unfortunately she does. It's why she's singing it a bit differently. But she's a legend and I would be pissed having to sing this song live in full capacity 20 years later!

I hear the same thing. She still has the technique down but her chords are just not in top shape and as reliable which is understandable given the severe stress she's gone through. I just hope come the summer tour, it's back in tact. Her vocal chords are very sensitive in her forties I notice, not as consistent and reliable but it's part of aging and life.

Part of it is aging, but I think part of it is she doesn't train as much as she used to. In the 90's she used to compare her vocal exercises to the training of an athlete. Keeping the muscles strong and well taken care of. With kids, I think she minimized how much training she does with her vocal chords. I think if she trained as much as she did back in the 90's her voice could be very strong again. I could be completely wrong, and she might train the same amount, who knows.

I don't know if you're referring to her shows from Feb-Mar, but her voice now has no raspiness and definitely very few cracks. She cracks on her best days anyhow. I think her tone now is alot better than before. I do however like how she sang the chorus in that video, it was more like the studio instead of the delays in the "all by myself" part. But the ending is alot stronger now then before.

Her voice is sounding so tired and worn out since coming back in February. I hope she is able to take a year or two off again soon.

I think she's just stressed about the new stuff coming and plus, the desert air isn't good for her voice either! I know she does saline to help combat that, but it's got to be getting hot in Vegas, and the desert air is dry dry dry, so maybe they aren't using enough humidity on stage or something. There's a lot of reasons why, I think her voice is still great though!!

Celine's voice changed in after her Taking Chances Tour. Then, her comeback last year after taking a break to take care of Rene. Maybe stress changed her voice a lot.. I hope she heals from pain to recover. Does she still have a vocal coach?

She was absolutely flawless during her first "Celine" era. I honestly think it was her last (to this time, hopefully) prime. Since her comeback in August I regularly caught myself thinking that her vocals are declining instantly. Don't get me wrong, her performances still give me chills and everything... But each time I heard a flaw or a rasp, you know, I thought that she needn't have returned to the stage so early.

But as far as I can see, the emotions and her mental state are to blame.

She struggled a lot performing during the New Year holidays (December 30th - January 13th). I guess that happened because she saw Rene's helath declining and it definitely affected her singing.

Then she returned in February and until the end of March she'd been consistently improving: Celine got rid of almost all raspy moments, the high notes in My Heart Will Go On were done exactly on pitch (despite them being sung in two takes, not in one like she used to).

During the recent shows there were a little bit more flaws and it's obvious why: she's releasing a new album soon, a new tour is going to start in a few weeks. It's all about nerves.

To conclude, she needs to have a proper emotional rest. But now, I think, it will be very hard for her to just sit at home knowing that the fans are waiting for her.

Just take in consideration that the weather is more than hot in Vegas and guess what... there is no humidity. She is going to leave Vegas the right time. In France, we have a lot of humidity currently, and it's not going to change during this month, rain, rain, rain, and again rain.

Ok I'm gonna come out and say something and I know tech this isn't the right thread but whatever. 6 years later I am still puzzled how people get meet and greets. I've read that some people wrote to Caesars but had no luck and yet others apparently have...idk I'm just super puzzled. If her meet and greets were rare then I'd be like whatever but it seems like she does them every night so I'm just curious as to what the big trick is. P.s. I'm aware no one will tell me but I just felt the need to vent and share.
