However, early reports indicate that the venue will be similar in size and scope to The Axis at Planet Hollywood (where both Britney Spears and Jennifer Lopez have residencies) and the Colosseum at Caesars Palace (which hosts Celine Dion, Mariah Carey, and Rod Stewart, among others).The new Monte Carlo venue will have about 5,000 seats and will primarily focus on concerts, but it isn’t out of the question that comics and other theater events could eventually be held on the new stage. The new theater will be built next to an upscale pedestrian-friendly park, which will feature native desert trees and flowers, stone sculptures, and fountains. I was fortunate enough to be there with so many of you. I miss being around all the love for her that was so palpable in the air. I miss the boutique, horribly.
