LukeD Posted July 18, 2016 at 05:58 AM Posted July 18, 2016 at 05:58 AM I wonder who they think will somehow be horribly offended if she mentions any aspect of her Francophone career. Like, what are they so damn afraid of? People losing interest or something? Irony is that in a show called ''Celine'' she had the perfect opportunity to showcase her French career. The show is self-centered and she is at a point in her career that she has nothing to lose! She could most certainly impose songs from her francophone catalogue. I could see her going for a classic like SSDA and a more current single like PAMP back in 2012 or EUS now. In a setlist of 20 songs or so nobody would care about a couple French songs. During the FIY tour she would sing 3 songs from D'eux live. Doing so now would definitely add to the show's originality and would give the audience a more complete aspect of Celine, the recording artist. 4 Quote

Not to start a fight, but..As her Vegas audience is mostly an American audience and a lot of Americans don't like something they don't understand... and there's always been something "against" French (cause it's vice versa too... also because a lot of French people refuse to talk/learn English). But I totally agree that both her careers should be more infused, I hope Aldo thinks the same.. 1 Quote »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» MATHIAS ««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««««https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzPrxI0AIDY

Gulenkov Posted July 21, 2016 at 07:20 AM Posted July 21, 2016 at 07:20 AM My question might sounds weird now, but anyway.Could anyone tell me, what dress was Celine wearing while singing All By Myself on the 17th of May, 2016?I'm asking because I have a dispute with one person on YouTube who claims she was in a silver one. I have always thought she wore the black one because it's definite that she wore it May 18th - June 4th. Any ideas? Quote

isurrender Posted August 8, 2016 at 06:30 PM Posted August 8, 2016 at 06:30 PM Yes I understand that also but it seems like just about everything in the US is like this not just Vegas, I mean the French part of her career is hardly talked about or acknowledged, just don't understand that. If she starts talking about it the interviewer cuts her off like the ET woman did in the latest interview. That and they make it very difficult to purchase her French-language albums here. The other way around is true also. All the documentaries about Céline skip mostly all of her English career, beside Titanic & all by myself. Quote

Kristinaz Posted August 9, 2016 at 09:18 PM Posted August 9, 2016 at 09:18 PM As long as a dvd comes out of this then I'm good. I'm still pressed the 2011 version of the show will never see the light of day in terms of a dvd especially since I saw that version of the show and fell in love with it. But honestly I'm sick of Vegas. It was beautiful both times but I think the 2019 contract extension was just too long IMO. I def still plan on going to see the show again now with the revamp and am still hoping it will get a dvd release as I said cause I think it's a great show but I think once this is done it's time to move on. 7 Quote

Kristinaz Posted August 10, 2016 at 01:47 AM Posted August 10, 2016 at 01:47 AM She made history there, it's time to make history in another place.Exactly I think the initial 3 years they had set up in 2011 was good enough heck even 5 years max was enough ( like with AND) but not 9 years that's too much. And now more then ever with watching her on this tour I believe it's soon time to move on. As we have seen Celine is still able to easily pull in an audience. So to me her doing a normal full blown tour isn't too far fetched but first I believe she should take a bit of time off for herself her family and even just for her overall health. But then again this is just my opinion 3 Quote
Ororo Munroe Posted August 10, 2016 at 03:16 AM Posted August 10, 2016 at 03:16 AM Maybe she is going to do a mini tour in UK, Ireland, Danemark and Netherlands next year or in two years to promote her english album. And in 2019 big world tour ! 3 Quote

nuts2you Posted August 12, 2016 at 12:34 AM Posted August 12, 2016 at 12:34 AM I do not believe this. Céline Dion moving from Caesars to MCAug 11, 2016, 12:39 AM I was told by several people here in Las Vegas that Céline Dion will be moving from Caesars Palace to the new theater at Monte Carlo, which will be finished by the end of the year. I DO NOT BELIEVE THIS RUMOR! I am bring this up, as I have been told the same thing by four different people over the past two weeks. Both theaters hold about 5000 people. The new theater at MC is going to be "state of the art" and it will be one of the largest stages for a theater that holds 5000 people. I thought the Colosseum at Caesars Palace was built for her. ? Caesars is losing Absinthe to the Cosmo later this year. Brilliant move by Cosmo. That tent in front of Caesars looks terrible. I do not believe Céline Dion is jumping ship from a CET property to a MGM property, but who knows. Her manager did fire some long time performers with her band recently. $$$ talks. Time will tell. I do not believe it, but if it is true, you heard the rumor here on TA first. Quote

Renè and Celine have had a relationship with Caesars Palace since the 90/ even before she went to Vegas for AND. Plus Caesars Palace is a much more popular and state of the art property over Monte Carlo. If Celine ever left CP, I think it would be for one of these newer casino hotels not the old and dated Monte Carlo, but regardless while in Las Vegas she ain't going anywhere other than Caesars. 4 Quote
