..and i don't want her to start something similar as Vegas. Like i already said: it is enough. I want her to be a fulltime mum and have all the freedom to start new albums , promote them once in a while and tour the world. Singing for the fans and singing whatever makes her happy.

Monte Carlo will cease to exist. An article was recently released stating it is getting an overhaul and will reemerge as two different hotels. So, if this overhaul is massive and done well, the lame property we know currently will rise as a beautiful phoenix. I'm not holding my breath, though.

In my opinion, she will perform there during many years, she is like an institution in Vegas. I mean maybe for 10 or 20 years but with few shows at the end.

Oh gosh I hope not...blah no I like the Colosseum. Ew now I'm trying to imagine the show on a different stage and just no please no let her stay at Caesars finish her contract...film a dvd (god I hope so!) and be done with it.

 

ETA well the contract is in total 9 years so your not off with the whole 10 years thing. Maybe not 20 I can't see that one though

I'm kind of torn about the Monte Carlo rumor. One one hand, I love the history and intimacy The Colosseum at Caesars Palace brings to a show. I love the theater's design and sound. However, sometimes change can be a good thing. This new theater at Monte Carlo could possibly help usher in a more energetic show. As much as I have wanted "That's The Way It Is" (in full), "Somebody Loves Somebody" and other uptempo songs to be added, I just don't see them fitting in with The Colosseum's aesthetic. I guess I'll take a "wait and see" approach before finalizing my opinion (if this even winds up being authentic).

Are we referring to Robin Leach? If so then Lord have I tried him on a number of things related to Celine and Vegas(even tried once the night before he did a Q&A with her) and he never replies back. If anyone manages to have any luck getting in contact with him let me know lol!

I'm still praying it's not true....I don't want this. This is gonna sound odd but if it's true I feel like she's betraying Caesars especially after how close they seemed...letting her take a year off and not rushing her and just everything said at the Memorial idk what to think right now. When my parents were there in June they didn't hear anything about her leaving any time soon and they talked to people who prob would have known if that was so.

well please no, I hope not. It is exhausting for her voice and been there done that. She so much enjoys doing this tour. You can see how she completely lives up. In Vegas it is routine and singing those same songs everytime again and the audience is totally different then her fan audiences in Paris and Montreal.

Maybe she is going to do a mini tour in UK, Ireland, Danemark and Netherlands next year or in two years to promote her english album.

Well it was in a funny way but she seemed bitter about Vegas, comparing Vegas to Quebec. Mostly how different it was living in these two cities. Maybe talking crap wasn't the right choice of words but she was being silly and sarcastic about Vegas.

Absolutely. I'll try to find a way to post the one from tonight. It was 12 minutes long. She did not want to stop talking. She kept on telling us stories about her children discovering the life in Quebec. And she kept on saying "you couldn't do that in vegas, in Vegas it's not like that ..." And so on. She kept on saying she didn't want to leave Quebec and it felt really sincere not like one of these fake speeches

I don't think she hates Vegas. But everywhere she goes in Vegas and everything she does in Vegas gots to remind her of Renè. Let's all admit Vegas is where Renè was probably his happiest. We all know Renè loved poker, and he loved great food. Well Vegas has the best poker tournaments in the world and some of the best resturants and chefs in the world. I think Celine probably feels less happy there without Renè. She probably feels more connected with her family when she's in Canada. But I have a feeling that RC has adjusted and gotten used to Vegas being home, and RC and his twin brothers are US citizens and I bet they feel more at home here in the Unites States, so while Canada may be home for Celine it isn't for her children which must be a tricky situation as to what happens in the future living arrangements after her Vegas run comes to a finish.

I really hope Celine adds in some songs from Taking Chances. I've been listening to it from start to finish over the last couple of days and it's coming back to me why it's my favorite album, it's so good!!! Sad that it hasn't gotten much attention since the tour :/
