angelil78 Posted April 28, 2017 at 05:35 PM Posted April 28, 2017 at 05:35 PM (edited) Looks like the videos are being removed by either Célines team or the broadcasting company "Celine Dion - The Last Good..." The YouTube account associated with this video has been terminated due to multiple third-party notifications of copyright infringement. Edited April 28, 2017 at 05:36 PM by angelil78 Quote

chocolatechip15 Posted April 29, 2017 at 12:52 AM Posted April 29, 2017 at 12:52 AM Any of the funeral videos that have Trois Heures Vingt in them were taken down awhile ago. I think it happened when Sony released Trois Heures Vingt last year. It's really kind of stupid of them, because that image of Celine and her family walking into the church to the music of Trois Heures Vingt. . . it's a moment that shows what an extraordinary song it is. I never really appreciated the song until hearing it at the funeral, juxtaposed with those images. Such a sad moment, but an incredible song. 2 Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted April 29, 2017 at 12:54 AM Posted April 29, 2017 at 12:54 AM The Celebration of Life is still on YouTube. Quote
Kristinaz Posted April 29, 2017 at 01:21 AM Posted April 29, 2017 at 01:21 AM Yeah it's kinda weird even with Trois Heures Vingt I was still able to find tons of vids with the funeral and wake till yesterday. I'm just sad I never got the chance to rip the wake. It was the most full version we had of it Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted April 29, 2017 at 03:43 AM Posted April 29, 2017 at 03:43 AM Actually, the whole funeral is still on YouTube, even with Trois Heures Vingt. This is Part 1: Quote
Kristinaz Posted April 29, 2017 at 05:15 AM Posted April 29, 2017 at 05:15 AM Ok so then we just lost the wake shame...it seems very few people captured it Quote

Jeanette Posted April 29, 2017 at 05:29 PM Posted April 29, 2017 at 05:29 PM I've been thinking about ordering Rene's autobiography but would need to translate it using google translate. Can anyone who's read this book recommend it...I mean is it worth the time it would take to translate it or is there nothing we don't already know in it. Quote
chocolatechip15 Posted April 30, 2017 at 04:45 AM Posted April 30, 2017 at 04:45 AM I've been thinking about ordering Rene's autobiography but would need to translate it using google translate. Can anyone who's read this book recommend it...I mean is it worth the time it would take to translate it or is there nothing we don't already know in it. It's written by Georges-Herbert Germain, so very large chunks of it are extremely similar to the other Germain biographies. There's some Rene-specific stuff that wasn't in the earlier bios (though the '97 Germain bio on Celine had several chapters on Rene's pre-Celine life). The Rene bio also has some stuff from the 2000's that obviously wasn't in the earlier bios. There's enough new stuff in it to be worth a read . but if you're relying on Google Translate, it might be more frustrating than it's worth. I read it verrrry slowly, due to my non-fluent French, and it was frustrating to put in so much work and realize that so much of it was practically word-for-word from earlier biographies. If you haven't yet read the '97 Germain bio, which was translated into English, you're probably better off starting there. Quote

Yes very touching I wasn't a fan of the songs she decided to begin the show with though. But the lyrics.. well I understand why she chose them Quote

Moo112 Posted May 2, 2017 at 02:51 PM Posted May 2, 2017 at 02:51 PM I was there that night. We cried with her. Yes, I believe that was Rene's ring. She cried several times that night. All by myself was the hardest to watch. As was my heart will go on. I will say this, I feel very honored that I was there. She shared her grief with us and the video montage I. The beginning was amazing. A fitting tribute to her life partner. 3 Quote
ceon Posted May 2, 2017 at 05:20 PM Posted May 2, 2017 at 05:20 PM (edited) Did anyone manage to rip this before it was pulled? I also see that a lot of Renés funeral full videos have been taken off Youtube. I wonder if it's her team that is doing that.. Those videos were on my channel, incredibly the funeral exceeded six million visits and the channel had more than 250 Celine's videos of all kinds, totaling nearly ten million visits. It was a channel that I started in 2008 that was growing very slowly with the sole purpose of sharing with fans, like me, videos that sometimes very selfishly nobody shares. All that effort was in vain. The channel was not closed for complaints from Sony, Feeling, Team Celine or broadcasting companys, I never had problems with them for my videos. The channel was closed because a single person, who was angry about a video that I uploaded, because according to her I uploaded it without his previous permission, denounced each of the videos that were in the channel. Which led to YouTube canceling the account. Was it necessary to do that? There was no other way to solve it? How far can a person's egoism come from? The egoism of a fan towards other fans? I never earned a penny with the videos, because I did not have the monetized channel, and because all I did was share the videos with others. The only and best reward was always the likes, comments and support of all. Many thanks to those who have supported in one way or another the channel. Ceon. OMG seriously!! that's just terrible I'm sorry this has happened to you. Will you try to get the channel open again? And why does it only take one complaint to close an entire channel?? Also someone has complained about Condor The Subtitler channel and it's probably going to be closed in 3 months 1 Quote

I think I'd pay for subscription if Condor for example would set up a website for the videos he puts subtitles on. They bring me a lot joy. It looks like his new channel, Condor the subtitler 2 will only have old videos But I'll take anything for him not to stop. There are a lot of french videos I want to be able to understand 1 Quote

angelil78 Posted May 5, 2017 at 09:53 PM Posted May 5, 2017 at 09:53 PM The video Céline made and published on January 14th in dedication to René. I've always wondered who filmed. First I thought it was Patrick but later found out that he didn't work for Céline anymore. Then I thought Aldo But nope, it was Denise Truscello who filmed it. Quote

I loved it!!!! I wish there was some way you could post those videos again. Would it be possible to upload them here in the media section? Would be such a shame to lose them because of one single person. I can't believe some people nowadays and the lengths they will go to it's just awful... I understand if you don't want to I'm sure it was alot of work but I know so many fans like myself always appreciated your videos. I am also shocked to learn about what happened with Condor's channel ugh so so awful what some people will do. I can't bear it. 1 Quote
