For me I love that her own team are already tweaking and are open already to changes and to making this show epic even though it's impossible to please everyone! The fact that Aldo has been to every show and is taking notes and that he and her social media site are not only on Facebook and Twitter but on other sites... because they genuinely care what fans think and want fresh ideas and a slightly new take on this chapter of her career. That had to be applauded and welcomed and like her shows in the past, they will evolve and I don't think we will get a DVD until next year when they are completely happy with the whole package. Fans can also be critics and she said herself that she does not want to be surrounded by "yes" people. The best is def yet to come!I totally agree!

This really could be a highlight of the show if handled with great care and respect. People know Celine has a great voice, but a song like "La diva" could show people she has even greater versatility than ever thought before. She may be having fun with her interpretation of jazz, but quite honestly, in my opinion, I've never really "felt" her soul come through with that genre. She's a damn great vocalist and entertainer. So, she could get away with doing practically anything while sounding great at it. It doesn't mean it works as well as other numbers could. Actually I don't think "La Diva" would be a highlight. It doesn't show her versatility at any point. Her voice there is far from an opera singer, I wouldn't say mediocre, but definitely, not something that would elevate her to another level. It's nice she made that tribute, but listening to La Boheme sung by Callas herself... there is a huge difference. Anyway, as everything in Vegas, where everything is made-up, where the culture of consuming all the styles, seeing wonders and monuments from around the globe after money in the core of capitalism is what matters, maybe some might appreciate it (though most probably it would be playback)... but would be more useful for them to go to the opera and enjoy great quality and let Celine enjoy singing jazz live, something that she has claimed she truly loves. I wish it were me. It was during the New Day shows and it's one of probably a million lost untold stories from that run of shows. But Celine laughed it off thankfully and it was a total accident.
