my heart will go on ( its live, because the timing for certain words is off.. and she improvs more in different sections slightly. certain verses.. the big note... note 1- and note 2 are like 95% pitch perfect... but i would argue its live 100%

Rene Angelil is well surrounded when it comes to fighting disease. Obviously with his wife Celine Dion and their three children, but also his own son Patrick, born from previous wedding.

 

Too weakened by cancer and the tough battle he's leading against it, René Angelil can't be with Celine Dion at Ceasar's Palace where she's back on stage. After undergoing treatments in Boston, he could be sent back to the house where his family settled in Vegas. He's now resting and is trying his best to keep an eye on his wife's come back. Nevertheless, Rene Angelil is very surrounded and can count on the help of his sibblings to support him. His twins Eddy and Nelson, turned five, are lighting up his days with their child plays. Rene Charled, 14, who's having troubles coping with his father's condition, still knows how to stay brave and give him the true love of a son.

 

René Angelil can also count on Patrick, born from a previous wedding. This 47 year old man has been working in Celine Dion's entourage for years. His role is to deal with the singer's official website and social medias to tighten the bound between the star and her fans. Patrick was there at the Colosseum on Opening night. As he declared to 7 jours magazine, he had planned a dinner the day after with René. "Every time I come to Vegas, I nver miss the occasion to see him" he explains. When he's in Montreal, where he leaves, the eldest child of the Angelil Family "talks to him on the phone" because "that is important too".

 

But René's strongest support is obviously is wife's. When she's not on stage or rehearsing, whe's with him. And when the show is over, she rushes backstage to get home as quick as possible. "I want to hurry back to the arms of my husband" she says.

Kiss and Purple Rain were right before MHWGO at opening night too. I think it's at more recent shows where they were playing around with the set list at the end of the show.

I was fortunate enough to get a ticket to tonight's show so I will be there and will report back.

 

The IID is truly the AI video played on the large screen. Celine introduces it as one of her many duets she has sung with other famous singers. She runs off for a change and the video plays the entire AI performance until she comes out to sing Immortality.

Thanks, it's really inappropriate then and very cheap. The orchestra could at least play the instrumental parts. Now I say (I would never say this if it was sung): CUT!

It's kind of ridiculous. I mean, people don't go to see an expensive show to see a video from the 2007 performance on American idol.. How did they even come up with an idea to show a performance on video during the show? I like the song, it's very uplifting, but it should be performed with the hologram. That's the real effect of it in the show

I finally have access to a computer that can deal with the forum...so although I am about ten years too late, LOL just wanted o report that I had a fabulous time at premiere weekend. Met a lot o amazing people, a lot of you I did not get to meet. I have always loved Celine, but after that, I love her a thousand times more. I would like to thank Tracey, Sherri and Alicia for their help, and say to Tyler that it was so cool meeting you. I thought about what you said...you were right about that. Okay, this post is about something really trivial, but I have to get it off my chest. If we're all going to be posting acronyms for the songs Celine sings, can we all at least get them right?! The song Celine sings "with" Elvis is "If I Can Dream," not "If I Dream." Therefore, the acronym should be IICD, not IID. I've seen more than one person on here do it.

I Surrender was definately lip synced 100% identical to Aug 27 & 29, don't see any difference, other than that the mix was different.

Don't get me wrong it's comforting to read he's being taken care of, but I think the magazines (In France, I couldn't help but notice) are really taking advantage of the situation and write tons of articles about Rene's condition. Only things that change are the points of view. Last weekend I was at the train station book shop chosing something to read and we had about three covers dealing with the same situation: one about Celine's stuggle, one about Rene Charles' and the other about Rene'... Anyway it's interesting to know Patrick runs the website!
