Some people have asked about bootleg versions with split tracks. I have just completed the splitting for the opening night bootleg. I had to make some cuts of interlude and speeches and didn't worry about them.... I was trying to get it to fit 80 minutes for the live cd i burned to have in my car (sounds great btw lol, nice having some different celine songs in my car for a change).... but nothing celine related was cut...

It could very well be a one night incident... Lmao Jesus the way a whole page transpires over one post about a dress I can only imagine how much you all flipped out after the tcwt show during the asian leg she sang the whole show in the same outfit...

That was a different situation though based on her respect for a specific culture. But I totally agree with you. People are way too critical about minuscule details. Celine could wear a burlap sack for 2 hours. I just enjoy hearing her.

This is what I wonder also.

 

I get the sense that she wants to be doing this show . .not "wants" maybe in the way that you want to go to Disneyland or the beach or something purely fun -- but I think she wants to do this for Rene; I think it gives them both something to work on and be absorbed in that's not about his illness -- something that's about strength and moving forward and is kind of a culmination of the work they've done together for 30+ years; I think she mentioned that the music can be a sort of therapy - she can deal with her emotions through it; and I believe her when she says she's doing it in part to show her children about being strong and not falling apart when something bad happens. RC in particular is old enough to understand what it means for her to be doing this show, and that kind of example is something that stays with you. And sometimes -- I see this especially in Mr. Paganini and the Prince medley -- she just seems to be having a really good time onstage -- and I think that's good for everyone. Mostly, I think the message of this show is an uplifting one, about strength and love.

 

Any choice she made during this time would be hard, but I think it's what she's always said -- She and Rene together make the choices that are best for their family.

 

The TF1 interview was very short, but I also found it very touching. At 2:18, she quotes Rene: "You're my favorite singer. I want you strong, I want you happy, I want you well. Go back. I'm okay." I do think they're doing this because they think it's the best thing now.

Watching these recent interviews, I realize just how much Celine has aged over this last year. All this stress & anxiety, it's really taken a toll, hasn't it. I hope being back on stage is an outlet, rather than an additional worry to add to the list. I wonder how much she truly wants to be back doing this, versus doing it out of a sense of obligation & for Rene. Either way - respect.

 

I guess it also depends much on her outfit and hair. Back at the billboard, or even at the opening night press conference, i think she looked gorgeous and fresh. But this black outfit makes her look more mature. And it seems to me that celine's arms seem to be less tone as in the past, i would avoid that too. Just my personal preference.

Heavily edited & super short as far as the actual interview goes - surprising since they supposedly got a full 30min with her. Nothing new here, really.

They have opening night filmed.. that there is proof.. I rest my case now make a dvd of it. If it was just the opening song then no I'd say it was just sent out for the media but as you can see they even have RDMH filmed and normally they do not film that into the show when it's just for media. Atleast with all my experience it's normally just the first two songs.

So... the green dress is back for the Prince medley.... I feel like the green dress and purple lighting are kind of weird, very "Mardi gras". I preferred the silver pant dress for this set.

It also looks like they're doing a better job of crowd control during Immortality. Thank god! I feel like the mob of fans running to take selfies with Céline cheapens the show. Not to mention it's a huge security risk.

To Confirm is Celine performing LCMM and RDMH in the silver/white dress as well as for ABM and TSMGO then changing into the green outfit for the Prince Medley? Or is she in the green outfit from LCMM to Purple Rain and Uptown funk transition is cut?

She sang ABM after incredible. Then changed to green dress and did Prince, LCMM, RDMH, and then Show must go on. No silver dress. Celine was incredible tonight! Lots of energy!

They are really tinkering around with song order and outfits more than usual...wonder why all the moving around so soon..seems like each show now is a bit different than the last

Hope the silver outfit gets replaced, it's the only one I don't like! Apparently Celine loves the blue dress for MHWGO which is why it's still in for now and it reacts well to the slight water spray from the water curtain due to the material. Edited by Shamrock_1982

the first dress in the earlier show looked way more elegant. This new one is not. It has this split in the front and the material looks.. I don't know cheap ( of course it is not ) But the other dress looked so much better ( this picture) . I was just looking on instagram and found this pic of Celine's wax figure inside Caesars Palace.

Is it just me or has Celine's wax figure been changed? The makeup looks different. The cheeks don't look orange anymore. It could be the lighting, but the makeup looks completely different to me. The hair is different for sure. The hair is shorter and styled a little more simple then when I saw it in June 2012.

 

I don't know if I'm going completely crazy, but does the body look a tad different aswell, around the hip and waist area? I also noticed that the head seems to not be tilted upwards like it was before?

It does not look like her at all.Catwoman..plastic surgery Celine.. The eyes are too far apart, the face is too wide. The other one in Quebec is soo much better This one really looks like her! But in the second picture she looks quite tall. That is the only thing that looks a bit different. But great great job here!

If you are hoping for a DVD i can tell you that the filming is not professional enough to release it. BUT I believe that a live CD of the opening could be released.

Oh God please let this be true! I could easily wait for a dvd then lol. But only on 2 conditions:

1) the whole show is on the CD, no cuts or reordering etc

2) they include bonus footage of opening night/week/previous run on the dvd when it does get filmed and released.

 

I hate it when songs get cut from a live cd. It doesn't flow as well, and everyone has their own favourite tracks etc. It was the main reason I didn't particularly like about ANDLILV cd. But I have high hopes since TCWT & USF cd releases! 😆

Nice idea... I'm still sad we can't have a full audio or video of "a song for you" (Russell's cover).

This idea works with her own songs as well...

Tell us people who've been to the show, do they still use the big screens in the show? There don't seem to be any videos that I've seen with a close up of her face. Just wondering.
