I'm glad the first interview will be in French and produced by Quebecers. Hopefully that'll put Celine at ease at least a little bit.

It's too bad that given the location and circumstances, she had to do her speech at the Celebration of Life in English, because clearly she can express herself so much more eloquently and freely in French. So I'm glad that when she has to face the press again it'll be in her native tongue. Hopefully that'll make it a bit easier.

if i remember correctly, he said he did not hesitate when Aldo called him to take the job(it was after Mego was let go). He said it wads very easy to work with Celine, she gives more ideas that people think, and since René is gone he thinks she gives even more. She can sing everything she wants. He is working on five songs on the new french album with Humberto Gattica.

 

Really surprising to see him have so much implication in the album, we have never seen it with Mego.... Wnen he goes in Vegas , he stays at the Ceasar.

 

and he had just great things to say about René, when he met him for the show in "008 in québec. René was an artist who really knew a lot about music.

Yeah it's actually really cool to see how he gets into her albums, not only the live shows. In fact, Scott Price is the one who produced the songs Une Chance Qu'on S'a and Les Petits Pieds De Léa on 'Sans Attendre' back in 2012.

I'm usually sceptical about this kind of information. But, if this is true, we should expect the announcement for the new single shortly.

The date was cited in Sony's Q1 financial statements released to the market earlier today - http://www.sony.net/..._supplement.pdf

 

This stuff is audited and filed with the SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission, for the uninitiated), so it's legit.

 

I used to work at Sony Pictures and can tell you that at least on the movie side of things, they took their published release schedule seriously...though of course they've got the obligatory "release dates subject to change" disclaimer.

It is 1 thing that they listen to us for a release before her tour, but another to change their mind and think eey they want an compilation album!

I don't think it's a compilation. We haven't had anything like that for a long time now, it seems too much of a coincidence to now have a release listed for the Friday before the tour starts. I believe it is indeed the French album. Yes, the document is from the US but maybe Aldo intends to distribute this album internationally given SA's success? I think this is super legit! Like Scielle said, this is probably something very real, and I love that we will probably but more then likely get the album sooner then we thought!! This is amazing, and the single has got to be coming soon then! So exciting!

Perhaps for the first time in ages they'll have a worldwide release. I'll get excited about it if it happens but that could also be an explanation for the RH info too.
