At least this time it was shut down before allowing any further false hope. Releasing the album in June.... idk if that would've been good or bad. She usually promotes it on television after the release, but she would've went straight into the tour. In any case, it's better than releasing it in November, when the buzz is perishing and she's back Vegas mode.

I think they'll do a album of COVERS! Maybe one original song. Something on the lines of: Celine is back singing all the hits of the world's biggest legends! Covers from MJ, Prince, Whitney Houston, Freddy Mercury, Edith Piaf,etc.

But there have been artists that promote their new album on tour even after a short release.. it just can't be that Celine ignores the new album and sings her good old trusted setlist again. I do not think she will do that again, not this time

Well there were delays with Celine's last French and English albums, so I don't see this time being any different. It's to be expected really. Given what is going on personally in Celine's life at the moment. Celine is going through the most emotionally, mentally, and physically draining time in her life right now.

 

I expected there to be delays. That isn't anything new when it comes to Celine's album making process and how her team runs things. They just want to make sure they are making the best album they can possibly make, because at the end of the day everyone's names and hard work are going to be forever printed in ink and the music will be playing in people's ears and hearts til the end of time.

 

Making an album is important and should be treated with the proper time and care it deserves. I would rather wait months or a year to have something of great quality and amazing songs, then have something that was created in a few weeks or months that was rushed and not properly thought out or planned with 100% passion and care.

 

I am sure that Celine and her entire team want to make these albums to the best of there abilities. After all, these are going to be the first French and English albums without Rene being alive. It will be the first time that he isn't going to be around to hear every note, approve of every lyric, listen to every breath. All these details are now going to be so much more important to Celine then they ever where before.

 

I think her number 1 goal is to make Rene happy from the heavens by carrying out his masterpiece to the very best of her abilities. That means, choosing the best songs she can choose and singing them the best she can. I am sure these delays are happening because Celine wants to make every detail perfect to honor Rene.

 

In a way these albums probably feel like how Celine felt when she made her very first albums in her career. This is a new step in Celine's career. When she made her first album everything was new and unknown. Celine probably feels some of those same feelings now because she has never experience a career without Rene before.

 

Everything is unknown and new again. I'm sure Celine feels alot of pressure to continue on this masterpiece without having that guidance that has always been there. Celine has always had Rene's opinion. Alot of the decision making is going to fall on Celine's shoulders for the very first time in 35 years.

 

That's alot a pressure for someone who has only even known of one way of doing things. These albums are going to possibly be the most important and precious albums of Celine's entire musical career.

As much as I disagree with someone who would say that all fans want to listen to the big hits, I believe that the fact that the upcoming french tour was quickly sold-out during 2015 (with no album/single release, no promotion of any kind, no setlist announced) proves that people want to see Celine live no matter what she sings.
