well it's partially true cause it was last autumn that info about new album came into light (photo with Zaho, JJG, etc) so people were surely hoping for some new material during the concerts as well.

I have just received an alert email from HMV Japan with details of an upcoming Celine release. While it is not listed as June 17th, but June 3rd, it would seem that there is indeed a compilation being released in Europe, a 10 disc set. Catalogue number 88985317622

Now it´s for sure new french album won ´t be out before autumn. Let´s hope at least one single will be out before tour. I´m Ok with releasing album in autumn, of course it could be better choice do it before tour, but with autumn releasing there´s better chance for some promotion focused only on album. If they did it in juin she could promoting album during tour but after she forget about album ... and we fans would have to wait again ... untill autumn 2017 for something new ... new english album. The ten disc set is probably 6 copies of LTAL and 4 of FIY

The mistake that was made here was that they announced to us that there would be 2 new albums. They should never tell us this because then people expect and anticipate and spread rumors. If they didn't even tell us she was working on an album we wouldn't know. This is what happened with the last 2 albums as well then they had to keep postponing, changing themes, etc. I guess my thoughts are don't even mention it until It's done and they know for sure what the release date is. But maybe they want us to talk and anticipate for years before they release it. I just don't get the reasoning that's all.

If the release of the new album is indeed in autumn, then I think it would be wise that she makes a special promotional show where she would sing more of her new songs. Live, of course. Something like she did with 1F&4T in Las Vegas.

Are we talking about the same release that was wrongly announced as a new album few days ago? Because it was announced as a US release. And I doubt they would release the '80 albums in United States.

Si Sony était intelligent pour faire une bonne promotion du futur album de celine en français serait de faire découvrir au non fan les premiers albums des années 80 avec effectivement une réédition des albums en cd. ?. Mais malheureusement cela n'arrivera pas. ?.
