"Encore Un Soir" album - Official Topic

Thinking about this again... I feel the single will be released during June. Then Celine will sing it live during the upcoming tour and she will go on to promote the album and the single in TV shows during August and September. I expect the album to be released during September. The hype can be really big by then! Maybe a second single will be released that month. And as of October Celine will be back to Vegas. I doubt she would be back to France for a second time which is understandable.

Therefore they should release the album earlier and use the momentum of the tour, because this already creates big hype and tv networks will report about it so why not using this opportunity to mention the new album and hit two birds with one stone. The tour wil already promote the album a lot and they can sell it together with the new singles at her concerts. Just imagine how many people bought tickets for these shows. It's a good opportunity to sell the new record to the public right after she performed the biggest hits from the new album. Edited April 23, 2016 at 10:02 PM by ryba

In the 2nd screen shot here, which was your previous post, on the bottom, you were saying you didn't blame the management. In the quote on top, which came after the aforementioned, you did blame the management. So, you take a closer look...at your own words.

It's still not a contradiction darling. I said pushing back the album (the delay due to Rene's death) is not poor management. The lack of any information from or regarding the album and/or singles is poor management. Read carefully next time. Where does it say "I don't blame the management"? Absolutely nowhere. You obviously just wanted a reason to @ me. Feel free to do so freely with plausible and worthy content.

I wonder about the first reviews of our "Mini Tour". If she wants to include some new material, she should also release something in advance, right?

I honestly hope it won't be the 500th time we are going to get performances of the same French songs...

 

And before the bashing starts : I love those songs but I have like 5 different DVDs with 60% to 80% the exact same songs.

The fact is, regardless of whether a new album was due or not, Celine could have announced a francophone tour at any time and it would have sold out.

 

I just hope that this time, given the lack of new material (apart from maybe a couple of songs), that they make the effort to give us songs that we haven't heard in a long time, or songs that have never been performed live before. This is the perfect opportunity for them to do so!
