Oh no... now I am afraid we will get the same old setlist. That's a shame

Unless she performs just about 3 songs from this new album. 1 could be the single released before the tour and maybe another 2 songs for further promotion?

 

It would definitely be more songs if the album was released during Spring, I agree on that.

I believe she will be in a much better state by then. To leave her kids behind and go to France in order to promote the album would be very difficult for her now.

If this news is true, maybe they will give us more rare songs from the past in the tour. It would be the perfect opportunity to do so if they're not intending to include 6 new songs.

I'm SO glad I didn't purchase tickets to a show in Montreal now. With no new album to promote, I have zero interest in attending. If it's just going to be the same show and set list as the past, I'll just rewatch a DVD.

It is a shame it will be pushed back, but it's understandable. Let's hope they will still be creative with the set list and not going to copy paste the SA tour, but I am sure Scott wants to put his mark on his first tour with Celine.

Surely I want to hear new songs, but frankly I am just happy to see and hear Celine!

 

It is a shame it will be pushed back, but it's understandable. Let's hope they will still be creative with the set list and not going to copy paste the SA tour, but I am sure Scott wants to put his mark on his first tour with Celine.

 

Maybe we should start bombarding Aldo and Co with song requests! There's a chance celine could include a new french song, like she did with LMBTL, but as it's going to leave more room for older songs now, I wonder if we should start reminding them of some of the absolute gems they have? ?

Nooo, I was so looking forward to this album in spring! And there is no point releasing it after the Tour! It should be realeased before or during the Tour so she can promote it while there, so she will not have to go to France etc. twice. What are they doing...

I hear you. And if I had unlimited access to money, I'd spend it just being happy to see and hear Celine. As it is, if there's no new album for a tour, I only have enough money to rewatch a DVD. I simply can't afford to "rewatch" a setlist in person. Maybe someday though!

Only one or 2 singles will be released before the tour... :-/

 

What are the chance that she performs songs that havent been released? :(

Maybe it is but Celine doesn't want to do all the interviews, tv shows, trips and whatever it needs to do a proper campaign for the new record. Not yet Edited by Lotty

Well there must be a reason for it. Either it's not ready or they've got other plans for the autumn. When is she in vegas during sept-dec?

Somehow I think they are missing out a big opportunity saleswise.

Whatever the reason are, all eyes are on her right now.

And with that huge tour coming it would have been the best promotion the album could get!

 

I'm afraid that now we get the same old french shows.

 

I still think she could release that album in May, plenty of time

I dunno- part of me thinks there'll be backlash if she releases an album now- like cashing in on what's happened. I know it was planned for Spring release for the past year- but I just know plenty of media will choose to take that spin on it...and that would be harsh to read and listen to, even though we know it's not true.

 

If it's gonna be a late summer/early autumn release, she can still perform new songs...and tours don't sell albums anymore. Those days are over

My thoughts are maybe the album was finished but after all that has happened perhaps she wants to add some more songs to it. I don't know what to think but I don't want the media to see it as cashing in on tragedy either so maybe it's best to wait. If she just needs more time, we'll I totally understand.

Probably my all time favorite song of her! Always wanted her to sing it live, especially then...

I hope we get surprises like this.

I'm afraid she will only performs 1 song like she did with LMBTL back in July 2013 during the ''Sur Les Plaines'' concert. :(

The redheads on fb are saying that winning song (I can't actually remember the title lol) will be on the new album too.

I'm not surprised that the album is postponed but am slightly disappointed at not having as many new songs in the shows this Summer. Hopefully like others mentioned they'll included songs that haven't been performed much. That being said I'm still happy to be going to Montreal to be able to see her as the show will still be special.

It´s a shame that album won´t be out before her shows ... I don ´t understond why fall ... they could do it in juin before her shows ... I don ´t think Céline will take a time to do something on album in summer ... but on the other side if album si out in fall maybe she will be back in Europe for promo!
