You did not even enjoy the album. LOL.

 

I refuse to give an album I didn't like at first another try to like it if the one who sings it doesn't like it either.

Well, that's the way I get it when I see no involving at all to make people like it.

 

But yes, I think it's funny how things are going so down ( and I'm not talking about commercial success ).

 

There are so many other artists who offer better things than Céline(especially when it comes to sell what they do). Or at least, they believe in their work...

 

But I'll always be here because she's been a part of my life for so long. ..

Until 2007 they used to always include a DVD with a new album. After Taking Chances everything changed. What happened?

 

She has such a huge fan base all over the world and is the best selling female artist on the planet. They should care in particular about HER releases and offer people some good stuff, not a freaking calender. OMG, what a bunch of idiots. Screw you sony with your re-release. I'm definitely not gonna buy that for the sake of a freaking calender that will probably not even include any pictures of hers, just like that ridiculous notebook... This is just a joke

Btw we are blaming sony but i think Celine and her team have the final say! Of course they told her about the ribbons and the calendar. Without her permission it would not be published. So it is too easy to only blame Sony music!

if celine thinks we want ribbons and note books and calendars as items in deluxe versions of her albums then she must be smoking something. i would take perfume samples over those things lol. extra songs or a dvd of the recording sessions is what qualifies for a re release.

They really think that we are stupid... a calendar for Christmas, what a great surprise. Guess what, I will use in my toilets to cle... my..... with it.

 

I paid 500 euros to see her in Paris, bought the album, many of us are fans for more than 20 years and this is how they consider us.... IT'S ENOUGH, it is time to express what we really think about the team, who follows me ?

 

 

It could be great to write an email, signed by hundred fans to express our feelings about how bad they treat this career, how many great opportunities did they miss...

Same goes for a live dvd, think they should took notice and let us know it's happening, or that it's not. Then we could go on

You are totally right, we have to turn this as something positiv... but if nothing is done...she is going to become only a tupperware product and music will be their last motivation. Look at what happened to Celine show in Vegas...

The thing is that people continues to see her in Vegas, and are ready to buy an album for the second or third time just because there is a little extra. She is doing a lot , we have to appreciate it, but sometimes , she takes people for granted. She doesn't show it, she seems to be appreciative enough, but she is not going deep often enough, but when she does it , like the American music awards with l'hymne à l'amour, people cries because there is something different, like some emotion and out of tune notes. Agree 100 percent with you Javito, everything is done for a DVD to be released. Behind the scenes footage, and I am sure that a concert on this summer tour has also been filmed. The fans are really crying out for a DVD, well I am, am sure many others are too. Why are we not getting a DVD, come on, please, pleeeze, for once, give the fans something they would really love and appreciate. Love to everyone on the forum.

Thank you for posting that address. See guys it's actually easier than we think lol... Just write your thoughts so they'll actually know what we think. I remember Scott Price himself told me a couple of months ago that they really like to get feedback from the fans.

 

We can complain here OR actually do something to change the situation.

Hello Team Celine, I am writing to you about the upcoming re-release of Encore Un Soir.

 

I wish to express my disappointment about the recent announcement that this release will only feature a calendar. I am not a collector myself, so really not into getting every edition of each album, but I have loved Encore Un Soir so much that I would definitely buy another edition had it been more interesting! I am forced to skip this one! There seems to be enough unreleased material from the summer tour, the recording sessions, behind the scenes footage, a music video of the lead single, possible commentary of Celine about the album. Apparently none of that is going to be utilized. But this is all I care about. I regard the calendars as an impersonal commercial product. Which unfortunately adds nothing to Celine's artistry or my fandom.

In general, I share the frustration expressed by you all: If the plans to re-release EUS with a calendar are indeed true, this would be utterly pointless, to put it mildly.

 

BUT: I have a profound dislike for artists re-releasing their albums only a few months after the initial release, with 1-2 bonus songs to entice fans with a tiny bit of extra music to buy the album again. I think this is greedy, lazy and disrespectful - and it is a form of punishment for those people who buy a record upon its release.

 

For this reason (and for this reason only) I would actually not mind too much if the rumours are true, because only people who haven't got the album (and some collectors) will be tempted to buy it. In other words, this option for me personally is better than getting a re-release with one or two extra songs or a DVD of the behind the scenes stuff that was on Youtube.

 

Regarding a DVD or CD of the tour, that would be of course a great bonus and a reason to buy the album again. But I have waited in vain for so many live recordings from so many different artists in the last years that I can't avoid the impression that releasing live records is not at all financially attractive. Which is a huge shame of course.

So why did they spent already that money filming the album recording sessions in the studio? Remember that "Ocean productions" picture in instagram back in late 2015? We all have seen the Amazon video. What was that for, to keep it for Céline's private family purposes? :rolleyes:
