I know fans are tired of LCMM but damn... I never saw one live performance of this song that I didn't like. It just works for me!

Yeah, it's a fantastic song! I still listen to it all the time and is on every Celine playlist I make. One of her best uptempos.

 

Love Can Move Mountains, I think, is Celine's ultimate anthem. The message of the song is what she's all about. And it's been one of my favorite Celine songs since I was a kid. Pure joy.

Are these for real??? They just posted TPOL, RDMH,IACBTMN, and LCMM from this night too. The quality is insane. Can anyone confirm these are legit?

 

Same channel that released the SLV performance earlier today... I wonder what else they have!

Well, they sound like legit recordings! Just have to make sure they aren't duplicates from another concert. This backing track from ABM sounds quite different....or maybe it's always been this way.

It is hard to tell... I got a "live" vibe when I listened to it for the first time. I need to listen some more. It does look like these files were available on the forum way back in 2005... guess I missed that!

It's the same pre recorded track. The only live is at the beginning up to "not forsake".

Those tracks come from the "A Special Radio Event" 1996 Promo CD

You can tell with the BYLM track, where her voice scratches a little at the beginning.

This is up there with the best performances she's ever done of the song really. For her vocal capabilities in 1997, she really did this performance justice.

 

To me it sounds just like all other 1997 performances of this song. Which means it’s an amazing performance, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t hear anything special in this one.

The best is yet to come...

I mean she didn't do anything differently, bu she did it all well. She hit the ABM note as well as she ever did and the second high anymore after that really well.

I think I remember the "Special Radio Event" is supposed to be a New York Concert, but I don't remember anything about it being taken from a private concert I must say !

Why can't she add this song to a concert.....would be happy if she only did it for one occasion. Really curious how it would sound today. Taking in to account how her voice has changed and how she sing her song now in general.

I love hearing the individual voices of Celine's background singers. Sisaundra has an AMAZING voice...wow. I would have loved to hear Celine do more female duets in her career, or just perform with Sisaundra on her tours.

 

Although I have to say, I strongly dislike Barnev's voice...I think she could do better than him.

Funny I was thinking that yesterday when I listened to I'm your angel from LTAL tour. I've never liked his voice. As background singer it's ok but in the duets...nah.
