The only thing I hope is that she will turn back to the crystal clear voice like original Celine, not a grainy voice, for the next album.

 

Her voice is in a good shape now and I'm so glad. I wanna see a powerful, clear and shining voice of Celine again and I think people out there, even young generation, appreciate her clear voice rather than grainy voice. :D

With the promotional appearances of her lifestyle brand and visits to the St Justine hospital in addition to the fact that she can't spend long hours silent as in the 90s, she can't be resting her voice at all and she is in the midst of a recording process!

 

Such a wasted oportunity because her voice always sounded better when she recorded outside Las Vegas.

she was taking some time off... in Québec to see her family and letting the twins play outside , is that a lost opportunity? Is she asking too much ?

That's the main concern now, and that's what happened with songs in LMBTL: they stretch on the process of selecting and recording songs so much in time that, what it may sound cool or modern today, it's not when the album is released! :pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :doh:

Well I think that's more Sony's doing, instead of "hers".

Firstly, they want to have her release the album in Q4, like any record company want their biggest artists to do. It means more $$$$ to them.

 

But in this case, it's also coz they're in charge of the whole album process, unlike before. Especially as long as she's manager-less.

 

Now if only she'll receive some killer songs in the next while and gets herself a hands-on manager, it may be sooner.

You make a good point. But sadly I really struggle to imagine Celine's team even knows what an EP is.

She said she is finishing recording the album and its still august 2017.. there is no way the release date is in 1 year! That would be so stupid lol I'm pretty sure we will have a date soon and we all know Celine is not really good about release date lol

 

In 1997, she recorded US on september 24 and Lets talk about love on september 29 and the album was out on november! So in fact, there are still hope for a november or spring release!

 

+ few days ago someone posted on the forum the Q4 release for Sony and Celine was there

Hmmm if this gives more time to Stephan Moccio to collaborate and write for her, I'm all for it. He's the man that can deliver another massive single for her worldwide.

EP is a totally unknown concept for Céline and her team :giggle: They were unable to premiere a new single while on tour this summer (which would have been the cherry on the cake for the tour), let alone an EP with several songs LOL :innocent:

 

An EP including Recovering, TSMGO, HDAMLF + 2-3 new uptempo songs should have been released this year before the tour. But hey, who cares about releasing new music and presenting new material during a tour, when she can gross crazy amounts of money while doing the same old thing as ever???

 

Yes, the answer is: only Céline Dion :innocent: The rest of the mortal singers out there have either to present new music to have an excuse to tour or just create to offer something new to the public when they tour :giggle: :rolleyes: -_-

The perfect release date is march, 30th.

 

It's her 50th birthday, gives her time to finish the recording and even include new material and... it would certainly reach #1 all over the world.

Oh gosh I'm so crazy waiting for this. Whenever I have free time. I always have to come back for update. 😂😂😂

 

And March is perfect. Not too long!

I will bet my last dollar that there will be a really great DVD release covering the tour this December. This will keep fans happy, be a holiday cash cow and then bridge the wait time until a new album. While I am gagging for a new album, the excitement and joy of hearing each track for the first time... all that is only worth it if it's good. I think we mostly all felt with LMBTL that we all wanted to love it more than we actually did.

I would love Celine to actually record this song. It was written and performed by my friend Kelly Levesque (She also did a beautiful duet version of "Would I Know" a few years ago). I love the sound of this song. And yes, that is Fraser Walters from The Canadian Tenors next to her...her husband. It should be illegal for people to be as beautiful as the two of them are.

Techically this would be new, as it wasn't sent to radio, put on an official release or made available for purchase. Just a one off performance by the songwriter.

But she also said it could be sooner. I think they've only just started vocal recording on a few songs so there's still a way to go. Depends if they've decided on any more songs since a few months back when it was 4 songs I think. And then it obviously depends on how many songs on the album and when Celine is booked in to record them and so on. Really can't see it being that early next year, I'm thinking the summer or yes, autumn.
