An artist is nothing without a manager. It's simply undoable.

 

Like Javito just mentioned, it is actually possible. I also know another example here in Spain. A singer called Mónica Naranjo (Spanish and Latin American Celine fans know her well) was her own manager for a couple of years.

There's nothing more I'd like Céline to say than "yes, OH comes all straight from the ANDHC sessions and is filled with ANDHC leftovers", so I can run and make my own copy of the ANDHC album in a 2 CD set gorgeous edition More than 2 hours of pure joy :wub:

I'm a fan of Enya and she has no manager at all, and she got to become one of the biggest selling artists out there without anyone managing her . She herself is the manager, she, her lyricist Roma Ryan and her producer Nicky Ryan are a team who are all together in charge of what they do, since the very first days of her career. It's just her and the record label, they propose and Enya decides what she wants to do. So it can work without a manager, why not?

 

You can hardly compare Enya's career to Céline's...that's definately apples and oranges. And Nicky Ryan is actually also her manager.

Again, for an artist of Céline's stature, it's just not doable. Maybe, MAYBE if she had no family and music would be her top priority, but that's not the case. You're underestimating what a manager does and how much work it is. The fact that Céline is now taking creative (and small business) decisions, is just a very small part of the job.

And why not? Actually it makes a lot of sense. We never had studio footage of her recording the songs in OH, other than the lead single IDAN, which probably was the only song recorded for the Chrysler sponsorship with her Vegas show.

 

Also some songs were recorded in the same studios as the songs in ANDHC, not to mention they included three songs that had already been released for ANDHC (HYEBIL, Sorry For Love and CWS) only one year before.

 

All these leads me to believe the OH album is made mostly of songs previously recorded for ANDHC (if not from more previous albums).

Nicky Ryan is part of what "Enya" is, a team of three people (singer, lyricist and producer), not just the singer and as they always insist to explain. They give the same importance to each member of the puzzle, so yet they could have a manager dealing with all the PR and contracts and small print details of her career, but they don't-it's just the three of them managing themselves and dealing directly with the record label.

I liked the hairstyle and the makeup, the clothes I liked in part, she walked looking pretty, plus the top of the clothes, I did not like, because Celine has small breasts, and under the neck, the chest is very thin, this Type of clothing does not suit her, does not match because her chest is too thin, maybe if she did put a little silicone would look better.

She used something similar in the photos of Hollywood report magazine, plus her breasts were up.

I agree that the make up is awful, doesn't look so bad in video form but when you seen still images of it it's pretty bad. Makes her look ill or a lot older than she is. Also kind of makes her look drunk.

Wow that is really late..fall 2018..that means nothing is ready yet. Wouldn't Vegas be in the way she would release it much earlier. Excited though how she will fresh up her Vegas show..

they have to focus in on thing only CELINE DION

 

bring the best songs, take time to produce, cause record it, she can do it in 2 Days,

 

 

Find the writers

the producers

and find a sound engineer
