Now that we've been listening to this album for a while, which songs do you think are the strongest / will stand the test of time? (I think many songs from Celine's past albums can stand the test of time... even if they were never performed live or became widely known.)

Lying down is the strongest song of her till now. Its very dark for Celine.

If I had to choose one, it would be “Courage”.

For me, in my playlists, probably The Chase. I don't think I'll ever stop listening to this song.

 

And maybe The Hard Way. I couldn't stand the song when the album came out but after I accidentally listened to it during a hard time in my life, it just hit me differently and now I find the song amazing!

 

I don't listen to any other song on the album anymore, so probably just those two.

And I do think the song will slowly, over time, continue to grow and become a Celine classic.

Celine started recording Courage Album as soon as 2016. The earliest song we know is Lying Down from Met Gala.

Is there a possibility that Celine has already started recording a kew English album? Perhaps consisting of Superwoman, Text For You song and PMLALS, and maybe like she did for Have You Ever Been In Love, Lying Down will be added again and music video will be used for that album's promotion.

The moment I heard it I thought it was an instant classic. I just wish it got a bigger reception and a better music video. And why didn't she sing it for James Corden?

I think the music video is very elegant. The song doesn't need a very good music video. Its Beauty how the background changes how Celine walks, do her hand gestures..love it

You know what? That ballet with Pepe they used in Courage World Tour could he reused for falling in love again or boundaries music video.

And the water MHWGO one can also be used with the photoshoot for Courage can make another good video.

I think it is lessened by the fact that they put out another black&white music video right along with it i.e. Imperfections. And it is incredibly elegant and the video quality is great, but the concept gets quite old very quickly.

 

That being said, I do like the video, but this was a chance to do a video in line with the album cover and somehow have the "rising from the ashes" theme complete with concepts of fire, red, flames, and power that is conveyed by the song.....in my ideal world, the album cover photo is a still from the music video for the song "Courage"

Dont forget she has about 50 or so songs already recorded , So it would be some thing if she made Part 2 of Courage album

It’s the best for me. Seems to be Céline’s favorite as well and she says it would have been René’s too. There’s definitely something special about that song and it does have the potential to become a Céline classic.

I thought I read somewhere that the first song Céline recorded for Courage was the title track, in September 2017. Probably the Sia songs followed with the Jörgen Elofsson tracks being recorded in December 2017.

 

As for her next English album, I think it is extremely unlikely that she has already begun that project; unless they choose to include something that’s already been recorded or even released, though I wouldn’t count on “Lying Down”.

I am just counting Lying Down for now as they haven't released it properly as a single with a music video. Everybody says that TC has something special to do with it. They might be promoting for new album.

I think this might have been intended for the Instagram commercial and maybe there was a scene where she was first driving to the castle, but it was cut and they just showed her inside the castle
